not only do you have to kill anders (noooo), side with the templars (boooo), and romance seb (dlc and f!hawke only), you also have to get him to 100% rivalry

although, lbr, seb is the only companion they did rivalry well with. it's more about changing his values and the path he wants to take than just doing things he doesnt like and making him hate you. definitely makes doing a rivalmance not so bad

i think it's severely under-explored that, in possibly the rarest timeline imaginable, hawke can potentially become both viscount of kirkwall and princess of starkhaven

#this is a playthrough im thinking of doing ftr #gonna play an ambitious power-hungry hawke going for both titles lmao #maybe a mage. but not siding with the templars for pro-templar/pro-circle reasons. more siding *against* the circle #but not in the good way of being against the oppression. more like.... how morrigan is. like 'why do they let themselves be oppressed'#but to the extreme of 'they deserve to die for their complacency'#and also 'this is an opportunity for me to seize control of kirkwall' lmao #all this said............i dont think ive EVER killed anders. ive sided with the templars for completion reasons but i dont kill him #but tbf making him fight against the mages is worse than killing him so that's ok actually #i think my goal is probably to get everyone to max rivalry. biggest asshole in thedas and ruler of two city-states #da #da2 #personal #i think it's a shame the inquisitor doesnt get to be ruler of anything. i know originally the inq was gonna be able to become divine #(ANY inq; even m!qunari could be divine. it was dropped obviously but i think it would have been funny)#like the warden can be queen/prince of ferelden and teyrn of gwaren and arl of amaranthine (all at once!)#i think it would have been VERY funny if the inq could have declared themselves emperor/empress of orlais #like im sure i would complain about it if it had been a thing. it's a bad idea. but like the divine....it would have been funny
