irt lrb my problem is that i LOVE neve’s character conceptually i just did not love her writing within the scope of tevinter specifically
#her quest line for example is probably my second or third least favorite#(taash takes last place and neve/lucanis are battling it out for runner up)#but there are aspects to it i do love (like working with the threads due to a destroyed minrathous)#it’s not just dull writing with her quests that bugs me though it’s her as a character IN minrathous#which i think points to the greater tevinter problem within datv which i will not ever shut up about#i think if minrathous was done better neve would be done better. they’re inherently intertwined.#and so her character work isn’t as strong as it should be. bc with a character like her there should be SO much bite to her writing#don’t worry neve i see you. i swear i’d kill to put you in a better game#anyways.txt#da4 spoilers#i guess
