im interested if someone knows more about this process bc i actually didnt even know that they wouldnt show the 3rd party options in all states & its really nice to know that there is sth people can do about it but im curious what exact actions they should take in that case. but i do agree that ultimately if ppl want change then theyll need to work for it somehow, ppl should stop accepting this awful sophie's choice situation and do sth about it instead of reinforcing it with the voter shaming

#i think if americans do get rid of that aforementioned mindset that there is a chance to do sth about the corrupt system theyre currently #stuck with and all i have for hope is the belief that maybe one day americans realise they do have more say than they think they do #i think if everyone who thinks the only point of voting is to ensure the less bad option gets in power actually banded together #that their votes would be enough to push for change #but instead theyre fighting each other on how actually x is slightly better than y bc x would nuke while y would bomb #or x would raise taxes for the poor to 20% while the other will raise it to 19%#americans u do not have to tolerate this #the ppl telling u that u have no choice but to vote for them bc theyre less bad are the exact ppl benefiting from u holding that mindset #the ones telling u a vote for anyone but them is a vote for the enemy are the exact ppl benefiting from that logic #dont accept their rhetoric bc it doesnt serve u it just serves them and keeps u complacent #im hopeful that maybe one day americans realise this bc thats #the only hope i have for things improving for my own country too
