#i don’t think the new game is for me and the fandom scares the shit out of me but goddamn i forgot how much of a comfort game origins is#i played it every christmas for a while#i cant put my finger on it but the vibes werent continued with 2 imo#i think i just like the comfy edgy late 2000s crpg goodness#the other games moved away from the neckbeardy tactical stuff#they did really define an identity for the series though#having read asoiaf since playing origins for the first time and also having familiarity with the witcher there is a LOT of inspo
