Anyway. Just thinking about how I developed severe difficulty with swallowing towards the end of my pregnancy with Leo and not one medical professional that I mentioned it to - and I mentioned it to every one I saw because I could hardly eat and it was making me miserable - tested, looked at, or even mentioned my thyroid, at the time or postnatally.

#yes it was 2020 but thyroid dysfunction is a common and dangerous thing in pregnancy !!#tw miscarriage for next bit #i think i had a chemical pregnancy the cycle before i fell pregnant with jacob #and like its fine it wasnt bad for me because it literally was a couple of faint positive tests mixed in with some negatives and #then a weird period a week late #so im not like affected by it #but if it was that 100% itll have been caused by my thyroid
