How do you characterize Incubus!father!!Arsene? At least, his non-yandere, creepish version. How does he treat the twins? Is he close with them? Does he have a preference for being an Incubus or a Succubus? Whats his general story?

Hmm. I’d love to answer this in the context of incubus!Arsene being able to impregnate his partner, should his spouse be able to conceive children, but I’m afraid I’ll have to answer a part of this ask under the context of him being a human and being married, anon. I apologize in advance. (And yes, this Arsene would not be his creepy, yandere self!)

As for how human!Arsene would treat the twins, Akira and Ren, best daddy~! When his wife informed him that she was not only pregnant, and with twins, he felt as though a stop button had been pressed on the world itself.

“I’m sorry, what did you say, darling?”

“I’m pregnant, Arsene.”

All the kisses and hugs she’d receive up until that point would pale in comparison to the affection Arsene would pour into the kisses, the hugs he’d give her, already giving the barely-there baby bump strokes of fatherly joy.

Throughout the months, Arsene would pamper his wife like you wouldn’t believe. She’d be treated like a queen, a goddess even, and sure, she’d find his constant hovering over her a bit frustrating at times (”Dammit, Arsene, I can get a glass of water for myself! I’m not a baby!”), she knows he wants only the best for her; he doesn’t want her to feel uncomfortable at any point through her pregnancy.

The day that Arsene saw his sons for the first time was a time he wouldn’t trade for anything in the entire world.

When he held the eldest twin, Akira, followed by the younger twin, Ren, was two of the most important moments in his life.

If the way he treated his wife throughout her pregnancy is anything to go by, he’s absolutely close to the twins! You name it, he’d do it. His wife needs to rest, after all!

Who wakes up at 1 AM to feed the twins? Arsene.

Who’s the one who changes the boys the most? Arsene.

Who spends the most time fussing over whether the child-proof locks are in place on the cupboard doors? Surprisingly, Arsene.

Who’s the one who watches pre-recorded special moments in Akira’s and Ren’s first year of life on repeat for an hour straight? I.e., first time crawling, first baby steps, first words, first time eating solid food, etc., etc? Arsene.

…You get the idea.

Alrighty, now back to incubus!Arsene. As for his preferences, I don’t think he has a favourite or a preference per se, but I’d imagine he spends most of his time as an incubus. He would become a succubus whenever the mood happens to hit him.

As for his general story, I’m still working out the “deets” for him, but an anon recently brought up the suggestion of his actual name being Mephistopheles. That was to be an idea for Akira’s/Ren’s original Persona, but as I understand it, the suggestion was scrapped because the idea of a demon didn’t fit into the thief theme of Persona 5. (I look up Persona trivia when I get bored. orz)
