I also think that Satoru loves Christmas!, according to gege he never had a good relationship with his family so I doubt he had a good Christmas when he was a child, but now that he's older and has a partner and friends he would surely want to do everything he couldn't do before.

A FELLOW BELIEVER OF SATORU LOVING CHRISTMAS <333 i agree! i think also people have mentioned that xmas in japan is different than america like it’s more of a couples day? i can envision satoru either not caring about christmas and looking out in the wintertime seeing snow but i can also imagine him sneaking out to see the pretty christmas lights in the city!

and agreed i think as he gets older christmas takes on a new meaning for him when he has someone he loves with him! he indulges in all of the festivities and gets infected w the holiday joy around him :’) nothing is too small for him, he’s the type of guy to enjoy the big things AND the little things — like yes your xmas tree is FILLED with millions of presents but he’s also putting on cute jammies and making hot cocoa while cuddling up on the couch with you to watch xmas movies :3 (i can also imagine him saying that he wants to watch a horror movie but then he gets scared and hides underneath your sweater while you laugh at him <333 HE’S MY BELOVED OKAY!!!!) <333
