To preface this, I am lazy and out of shape. I know more or less what my goals are to contribute to a good local community, raise my self sufficiency level, learn skills, grow food, ect. I will not a front line anything, it's just not something I can or want to do.
Now, I know a lot of people are suddenly radicalized and wanting to make some big moves. It is a very relatable feeling, BUT that kind of thing isn't for everyone. If you want to make the biggest impact think logically and realistically about your skill set and what is needed.
If any of y'all are talking about winter boots, ect, one of the best things you can do is go to the gym, take self defense classes, learn how to safely interact with firearms, ect. All these little tips and tricks I keep seeing (mostly on tiktok) are useless if you can't do them bc you have been skipping cardio. The p r O u d boys and other groups have been training, have a long history of firearm ownership, and have been in community with each other for a long time. Do Not Underestimate what the threat level is.
I struggle with my health and I know many people have health conditions prohibiting them from being front line activ ist and that is okay, that is good even. Everyone has skills and talents. Use them wisely. Baby sitting, data management, food bank workers, financial donors, health care providers, ect are a necessity for any successful movement.
#not going to tag this to actually go viral but so much of the“ ADVICE” ive been seeing is useless of even harmful#i think back to BLM movement when i was 19 i did alot of thinking#should I try to Blk Bl 0 ck#the answer is no#im a fat white passing lady#i can take up space#enlarge croud numbers ect#i realized my place is to be a “respecible looking” “white” “woman” and take up space#not everyone is a fighter and thats just how it is
