im a big azura/odin fan and i like to think about them having a happy ending in ylisse after fates because. god. look at them. dont they deserve it after everything theyve been through? but sometimes i think about post conquest azuodin and what it must be like for everyone to send off happy cheerful owain, high off life and having just beaten the fell dragon to bits and pieces, and then seeing him come back years later still doing the same song and dance but missing a whole part of himself no one else even knew and no one else will ever grieve with him. he talks about her sometimes, she was so fantastical that no one’s ever quite sure if he’s telling the truth or if its just another one of his wild fantasies. but that was just her, wasnt it? anyways good thing revelation is the canon one and he takes azura home to meet his quirky family and she finally gets to live her life in peace away from all of the burden that came with nohr and hoshido and that other one. i think she takes on a new name, not because she needs to but because she can finally put azura to rest. in a much happier way!
