as more and more far right organizations trot out cis white women to represent them, as more and more cis white women ally themselves with fascists to achieve their goals we really need to abandon any last traces of proto radfem childish fear of cooties adjacent “men are bad by virtue of being men and women are good by virtue of being women” rhetoric. yes, feminism is a noble and sorely needed movement. yes cis men benefit from patriarchy while cis women suffer under it. but there are men fighting to dismantle it just as there are women desperately, and successfully, trying to uphold it. and importantly, benefiting from upholding it. there are women whose paid full time job is taking away rights from other women. don’t let them get away with it
