I'm joking, obviously, but I've been writing (im not joking) the same fucking chapter for three weeks and it's still got a whole lot of things missing that I need to write, and wcmn is slowly turning into a Bahrain night 2023!maxiel fic and I'm not okay with that!!! like, I've got no time to work on this fic, so I have to actually rip chapters into smaller chapters (which tears my heart), so I've been updating the fic for two weeks (3 chapters) with only Bahrain night 2023 and it PAINS me that I can't update it with all the cool chapters I've been wanting to post for so long now haha

“There can be no peace without freedom, and you have sacrificed them both in the name of your tyrannical greed!” Satine screamed as she clenched her fists and stepped towards him.

Vizsla’s face turned an inflamed shade of crimson, and for a moment, he wondered if having Bo-Katan do the honors of silencing Satine for an eternity was worth the wait. The kal in his boot was crying out to be drawn, to carve the breath from her throat against its blade, but he managed to stop himself. It was imperative that his plan be followed as he had intended, and he would not give in to his base instincts.

The former Duchess of Mandalore would die soon enough.

For now, she was livid like a diseased animal trapped within a cage, and he took pleasure in knowing that her diplomacy was disappearing as her humanity was stripped from her.

She would waste away in here, driven mad by the isolation and tortured by the knowledge that she could do nothing to stop him; and if she somehow proved to have a stronger constitution than he believed, he was certain that witnessing her sister murder her son would push her over the edge.

I posted my latest Xal story on 11/30, and I am now thinking about making the sixth installment a multichapter. I am hoping to post another oneshot on or around 11/06 for a fandom I used to post in a lot. Right now, only one of the three fanfiction sites I post on (AO3, ff.net, wattpad) has a story from this fandom; that’s how long it’s been. But I revamped an old story, and I’m excited to post it and maybe reach some new readers!

I also got some work done on Sparkling Eyes and Cigarette Burns. We’ve got two chapters to go, and honestly, the last chapter is going to be more of a very short epilogue that leads into the third story, which will be coming in the future, though I don’t know when. I hope to get this chapter up soon, and I’ll keep you posted!

AND, on 11/13, we get the debut of Rehearsing Tragedies! I am so excited about this. I cannot express in words how much fun I’ve been having writing a completely feral Slave!Castiel who just wants to rip out Sam and Dean’s jugulars with his teeth. In this universe, Hell got Lucifer out while the angels remained entirely uninvolved, but Lucifer cast the angels out of Heaven before the Winchesters took care of him. This would be around Season 3, with Hell freeing Lucifer without the methods used in the show (Sam, demon blood, Lilith), and unlike the angels who fell in Season 9, these angels still retain supernatural abilities, they are just very weakened. I hope you check it out!

On the book front, I haven’t done much lately, though I am trying to get my book in a Stuff Your Kindle event that is coming soon. I don’t know if I’ll qualify because it’s supposed to be fantasy/sci-fi, and zombies KINDA fall into that category, but… I don’t know if they’ll accept it… so… yeah.

I just need more hours in a day to get this stuff done... preferably hours when I'm not at work or sleeping...

first of all, you spooked me cause i was like how do you know my name, then remembered i have it in my tags

second of all, YES, that is exactly the video that inspired the whole fic. i saw it on tiktok, on the 17th of may, and immediately had this insane thought about what lando might have meant. went to tell my beloved @chiliconsharls (who actually came up with the idea that it was mark who'd suggest doing it), brainstormed it a bit, and the rest is history i guess.
