Honestly, for all that the Sokushi Cheat anime is REAAAALLY HORRIBLY TERRIBLE, it actually humbled me so like there's that One good thing it did for me. It cemented the: "anime adaptations doesn't need to have a 1:1 accuracy to the source material and that's okay, mostly" to me cuz Sokushi Cheat anime is just soooo bad, it brought my expectations six feet under the crust of the Earth. Which is good cuz no matter how I think about it, unless the studio wanna skin all the characters alive and paste into some fake skin on their bodies to compensate, then technically any anime is as good enough as can be to me.

#aria rants #my expectations were low but holy fuck. honestly i think that anime just horrified me so bad its like my sleep paralysis demon #i survived 4 episodes for the voice actors and im STILL plannin on watching the rest btw (8 more episodes... ough) cuz the voice actors #are just REALLY good in it like Why? why are they sooo good in an anime akin to seven train wrecks? the voice actors gave their #ALL to the performance of it. those voice actors better be paid a hefty sum for that cuz honestly its the ONLY thing #good with the anime. the voice actors. the small shift in tone. the emotions they express via the voices. like-- the performance #for the voices are just really done well that i just cant believe it HAD to be in an anime thats so POORLY done #you can easily tell that the studio didnt even CARE about the story they just wanted smth to animate and make money off of #if they even COULD with how blinding horrendous the end result became like good lord. its just sooo bad
