- One of them is friends with an actual groomer that posts porn on the Roblox platform

- Two of them post cropped porn “memes” to their Discord server which is full of minors

- One of said two people tried to take advantage of someone undergoing chemo

- Raided the BlushCrunch server spamming slurs

- Sent death threats to said server’s staff

- Doxxed Rox and Qwel

spreading any “misinformation” about the war efforts is about to be an offense worth 15 years. except “misinfo” in this scenario is anything that is counter to Russian propaganda. propaganda which says that Russian military is not attacking innocent civilians when everyone with the most basic Internet know-how can find videos of what is happening in Ukraine. the destroyed buildings where people lived. missiles hitting living spaces. dead in the streets, none of them military. people with limbs torn off. people burnt alive because they were too close to a missile explosion. propaganda which says that Russian losses are in the dozens when in fact it’s over 5,000 lives. boys that are younger than me. and please understand that I mourn the loss of lives on both sides, because nobody deserves to die in a pointless war, most of these kids didn’t even know they were being sent to invade. wikipedia is about to be blocked for the Russian internet, because it is for the truth, and it updates its information on the war truthfully, which is counter to propaganda.

No more SWIFT for many banks, which isn’t even a sanction, because Russia itself prohibited its citizens to move any funds to international banks to go around this restriction. you have another bank account overseas? can’t move your funds there, sorry.

so. like. for starters. people who are homeless and in poverty can have access to social media. Palestinians have technology, and some have access to eSims which is why those are so important to donate and they help Palestinians keep in contact with family and loved ones.

i don't know what part of undergoing a genocide instantly removes your access to the phones or technology you had before? as highlighted by others in the reblogs, you can still have access to technology and social media while in poverty, while suffering from genocide and starvation. some of them are scammers this is true you need to be careful and aware of which ones you share. however you just have to check the blog and search if they are properly vetted [the vetting process regards to very specific blogs having verified that they are in fact a real person who actually need help] or by doing a quick search for any posts with their username in it to see if they have been disproven as a scam. if you can't find something and are not sure you are not forced to reblog it. i have gotten some that are not real, however some of them are in fact real. there is a specifically list of vetted fundraisers. in fact here's a masterpost provided by @/el-shab-hussein that discusses vetting, and has access to the link to the google spreadsheet that has hundreds of vetted fundraisers and their campaigns.

i have a vague feeling this is related to the anti-Palestine and donation focused smear campaign shit that has been going down recently across the internet and Especially on tumblr but like yeah. whatever. my two cents & knowledge on it all sorry if i'm being mean but you can't come on here and say weird shit like this.

Hi , 🙋🏽‍♀️ as someone who researches religions and closed practices i do agree with your claims , and I don't think you are wrong at all with this portrayal.

To start us off with basic facts , Voodoo has been a demonized practice since the dawn of time and is still demonized today from TV shows and media (cough cough *hazbin hotel*) , with all the misinfo spreading around the internet from it and people from witchtok appropriating it people are most likely gonna think its okay to think its demonic and shit because 1. They lack media literacy and 2. They have no empathy and are weird racists . The whole hatred for voodoo has stemmed from anti-black racism . Voodoo literally isn't demonic and the whole fundamental principle of voodoo is that "everything is spirit". They have similar values to other religions .

It is really weird to have villains have some cultural often demonized thing to them just for the horror factor like fucking alastor from hazbin hotel (the show and it's twinks can rot istg)

I had an obscure lore post that had a part of the skin-takers old info , like in the songs "come , come and rip" and "one year closer" , the whole song was supposed to be morbid (because he's a villain . ) and the page claimed that the song was supposed to have ambiguous and dark themes , including references to African voodoo ( news flash 🤓 the term for voodoo is either HAITIAN , WEST Africa (because literally not every part and person in Africa practices voodoo and it was more common in west africa) , HOODOO , and LOUISIANAN voodoo, OR JUST VOODOO.) and I can only assume they are used in a bad light because everything in a villain song needs to be scary and weird so they had to use the stereotypical evil voodoo thing to match the Skin-taker's song , which proves your point even more AND it makes the whole villainized voodoo aspect even WORSE, even though the wiki was made in 2013 where people still didn't give a shit about minorities but it's still bad.

But other than that the wiki doesn't really explain voodoo much with the Skin-Taker , and those are the only two mentioned in his page , it's still weird and bad nonetheless.

This may be a way heavy and unrelated reach but I also don't really like how in the day of the dead story also tied the creepy evil skeleton murderer to an old traditional holiday that was also demonized and compared to some random holiday because Skin-Taker = skeletons are spooky = everything involving skeletons are spooky = that must means day of tbe dead is scary / sarc (when really the whole basis of day of the dead was to celebrate and mourn loved ones not to be scary or some shit) and tbh the whole premise story of a woman whining and crying over a bunch of skeletons from a cultural holiday because of some weird show she watched is ehhhhhhh ಠ⁠_⁠ಠ

Also, another thing that could work well with your claim is that the wiki gets a little weird sometimes with things , intentionally or not , like Dr. Mort being based off a literal not see (his redesign is literally even worse now , I'm wondering why isn't anyone asking the admins this?) , the only POC rep being Sanjay and Salty Jojo , an old obscure lore screenshot i had on Red Mary's page saying that she was supposed to have minions resembling HIROSHIMA VICTIMS, and the PANI native people being a stereotypical native warrior race (i'm not really sure if that was intentional because back before/after the 70s POC rep especially indigenous rep was really bad so idk if they made it like that to make it "time accurate" but either way its really gross). Reading through the wiki again for the first time in a while and I’m actually kind of glad they took out the trivia of Skin-taker actually being based on the Haitian Vodou deity Baron Samedi.

I think it was only in there in the first place because the creepypasta Candle Cove-Day of the Dead first mentions it and it was a fun tie in, and also I’m as white as the mountain of salt you should take this with…

but I don’t know if saying the evil creepy unhinged skeleton in a top hat who happily murders children and does ambiguous fantasy necromancy is inspired by a real aspect of Vodou, an already heavily demonized closed practice often used in media for spooky points, was the BEST thing in the world to keep.
