i so desperately need someone to be feral with me with this story, but it's not fucking released yet, because I'm the one writing it
#i still think dwiw was my like...magnum opus#i have lowered expectations for this story#HOWEVER................#it is So wild#for someone who loves villains#I think this is the first time i've got a villain i'm satisfied with#i won't say they're like the best or the most well written or anything but it's truly the first time i had a backstory for them and was lik#oh it's not something i will cringe at in the next few months after i've finished this story#also. i'm not very sure about the romantic aspect#i think there was a review on dwiw saying that the story is more plot focused so it made sense with the slow burn#this is..................definitely not romance centered#the slow burn is like eating sichuan peppers#it kinda fizzles in there and then lingers in your mouth for forever#and the more you eat it#the hotter it is y'know#....i don't think i categorized it as romance LMAO#chinese based fantasy where the leads are gay ig?#as usual the one of the mcs is pan bc they are always either bi or pan#i dunno#i'm pretty excited#there's three arcs in total with new and overlapping cast each time#i'm not sure about the character death count.......we'll see#the first draft i had one#that person will definitely have to go again lmao#i'm sure there will be others in the upcoming arcs...i haven't even gotten past the first one yet#glrev
