omg since lair organization is on my mind i guess i’ll write down some thoughts/plans sadfasd

i should definitely make real hibden tabs now that its more than just storage sdafds so many permas in there now... probably should have a sleeping Florabrisa tab to store more residents, but the big one ive been considering for awhile is a ‘travelers’ tab for dragons that are either on the move a lot or are only temporarily visiting florabrisa. technically gelibol should be there tbh since it’s his tavern where a lot of them would be staying haha. i’m not sure if i’d have to separate gelibol and colada or not, i could probably bring colada to the travel tab too since they sometimes help out at the bar haha. i feel like people often use ‘traveler tabs’ to mean dragons theyre getting rid of, so actually i could name the tab Gelibol’s Tavern to be more clear? i think i had that idea before and then forgot it but im remembering now and have it in writing so dsafad woo (of course not every dragon would literally be staying at the tavern, but i think it could still work?)

i also had intended to keep it to 30 dragons a page, and my swamp tab has 38 dragons currently..and there are some dragons that need to be added to there. i can probably divide that tab into two pages finally

Coco I’ve never been sure where she should go. she doesn’t actually live in Florabrisa. the tavern wouldn’t make sense in that case, maybe the Farmland tab since that kind of encompasses the outskirts where she lives?

i think Ram and Ulota also got me thinking of a salon tab haha. that would have so few dragons in it though. Galanthus runs it, she’d have two of her kids, Fioralba and Quarrae there i think. maybe her other kid Brondelle (and Mykytyn and Kayleigh by extension)? Jordis would go with Ram, Gwennol too. Yazeena and Steepe? im not sure if this would be enough dragon since i prefer tabs having like..20+ dragons haha,, but hm. ooh i could combine it with florabrisa’s healthcare dragons? isla, epasisas, eve, vico, slough, bandelero.. that could kind of work i think. isla would have freya with her even though technically freya isn’t a florabrisa resident.  zibeth is tricky since she’s a 13 year old whose parents live in the swamp and she should be with them, but she’s also isla’s apprentice..

well i’m definitely not doing any organzing tonight..but weekend project perhaps

Mini Lair Purge - PWYW!

After sifting through my massive dragon hoard, I've pruned out a few dragons who I think it's time to part with. Some have lore, outfits, and art, and those who have skins/accents will come with them! You are welcome to request lore blurbs or outfits to go along with them as well, and I will be happy to oblige. Some of these dragons even have "extras" like unscanned traditional doodles that I am willing to include if you are interested--check out their bios if you want to know more!

They are all PWYW, though I'd appreciate offers above fodder pr!ce if that's in your wheelhouse. I am willing to part with them for free if you don't want to send anything, or you can offer wishlist items in exchange. I'm flexible!

Lair Review for Kesten

Ok wow your lair, with all the tabs and small descriptions is so well organized AND beautiful. Reading the little snippets in your hibden tab descriptions was entirely captivating. I also really like the name you’ve chosen for your city-- and the lore you seem to have written about its origins. Let’s begin:

Johnny

with the amount of stars she has she seems to be a fan favorite! And I can see why. You really made the wine secondary work well by using the accent and dried flowerfall items. The fern and celadon silks are and equally amazing combo, but I especially like how the ringlet gene matches with this whole flowery theme. The hints of gold also marry the two colors well, and overall helps create such a regal and unique looking dragon.

Keegan

Keegan’s design and outfit matches SO well with the Yellow-Throated Sparrowmouse familiar that if I didn’t know any better, I would’ve figured the staff of FR designed this dragon themselves. The pure chaotic energy of this dragon was only confirmed when I scrolled down to the bio and found whispers of “tax fraud” and “he means well but he is also a little evil”. I love him and any mini atrocities that he may be involved in.

Tempest

If I had to describe this dragon with just one sentence it would be “a refreshing, tall glass of cold, sparkling water-- grape flavored of course.” She is elegance with a side of fierce (I mean look at those spikes) and wow I’ve seen double halos layered nicely but this really takes the cake with three whole halos. The top layering of all the purple apparel pieces helps with giving her outfit more depth. I could stare at her all day.

Aoulie

This story teller looks like he came right out of The Never Ending Story. The accent you’ve given him makes me feel like whatever story he’s telling is interwoven with magic to make it come alive, and the moon in the middle really draws the eye in--it’s quite an excellent centerpiece. The layering of the hat and the ghastcrown is incredible. I love how the glowing eyes match with the flowerfall, giving it an overall starry look. 

Antigone

Another incredibly looking regal dragon. I want to immediately point out the amazing gradient this dragon has. Even though the majority of the details of Falcon and Peregrine are covered, they’re still doing a fantastic job for the majority of this Look. I love the combination of the golden seraph and the haunted flame sets, but what really draws this all together is the halo and the accent. Sappho and Antigone make quite the stunning team

Hurste

The wanderer that really brings home the “straight out of a DnD campaign” vibe. You don’t see a lot of dragons that take a FR-made skin and turn it into something completely off the wall good. And with a color palette consisting of four colors, no less. Hurste's design makes use of great contrast and camouflage. I really enjoy what you’ve done with this dragon.

Delphina

Delphina may be a non-lore dragon but she is incredibly stunning. The combination of green and cerulean are always eye-catching. I love the aviation pilot look, while still seeming as tho she may have crash landed into a bramble patch it lets my imagination kind of run wild with her design. And I’m such a sucker for matching eyes. Delphina gets a 10/10 from me.

Sandstone

Sandstone looks like a mystic nomad who is perhaps annoyed that the wind keeps blowing away his tea leaves which are carried in the pouch at his side. It looks like he’s found a home near the altar (that he maybe tends to?). In all seriousness I enjoy how the reds and oranges bring a flash of color to his look. It keeps him interesting while not overwhelming the senses. I would love to accompany him on any journey or listen to any stories he may offer.

Eurydice

Yet again another familiar/dragon combo that just knocks my socks off. I love Eurydice’s ghostly appearance, what with all the lanterns, blue flame, and watery halo. The sage cover combine with the previously mentioned apparel items really give her a mysterious charm. I must also add that I’ve never really liked Edged much before, but in her case it almost looks like little embers floating up and out from the blue fire.

Elijah

Red and blacks will never cease to be a fantastic color combo. But I really must commend you on Elijah’s outfit. I’m going mad over the excellent layering choices, with the sash, the scarf and necklace, fan, banner, and grasp. I need a mop to clean up all my drool over here. Capsule was an excellent choice to use with the grasp, and I like how the throat matches the color of the banner’s button. It’s the little things that make his whole outfit flow.

Honorable Mention: Sawyer

Sawyer is just too good looking NOT to mention. The owlcat skin really works well here, and I love how the feathers poke out just from under the wing armor.

Thank you, Kesten, for getting me to review your lair. You’ve taught me to appreciate FR-made accents more, and I can’t wait to start using them in the future. Good luck on getting some lore written down. Everything seems so fleshed out and well written so far!

I may or may not start a Hatch all the Primals quest soon.  I already have Ice, Fire and Arcane primals I love, so I’ll be able to skip those, but I’d also have to go back to Earth eventually, I don’t like the primal I kept from when I was there.

I’ll need to completely redo my hatchery and make it more elemental themed.  I’ll put the breeding pairs that don’t match the current element in my Hibden, and get a bunch of new pretty pairs that do!  I’ll need to be able to sell them for more than fodder price, I need money for my gene projects and my ongoing XXX G1 quest, as well as the flight changes.

I’ll want at least 25 breeding pairs, maybe 30, since I have all 5 nests, and I don’t really want Plentiful dragons.  Enough so I can keep my nests full.  They also need to be pretty enough to possibly sell for above fodder price.  Which might not be the easiest to find.  

I’ll also have to start in Shadow, since I’m still on Flight Change cooldown and I don’t have a good Shadow primal yet.  And I put a bunch of dragons on nests this morning before I had the impulse to do this.  At least I have a few days to get a bunch of nice breeding pairs I guess.

5. Do you have any dragons who garden?

I don't really have a gardener dragon right now, though now that you've sent this ask I'm thinking of making one. In the Hollow I imagine that gardening is actually a function of the Architect's Guild, since the plants are all simulated. There's no getting your hands dirty; you just have to do the right programming.

11. Monster dragons! Undead, spirits, vampires, ghouls, werewolves, or anything based on the supernatural?

I mean technically most of the Hollow are undead/spirits, but that's not what you mean. Well ...

He isn't really part of my new lore but Savion is a vampire! I honestly have no idea how vampirism would work in the Hollow so I don't know if he'll ever show up in that universe. I did really like the storyline I started for him, Keelan, and Kayce, though. Savion is an arrogant young vampire, Keelan is a mortal who works to help vampires in need, and Kayce is a vampire hunter. They were supposed to eventually end up as a polycule but I ... stopped writing before Savion and Kayce even met each other, oops.

14. Dragons involved in other arts? (Theatre, fine art, etc.)

Yes! Probably. Somewhere. The Song is the City Sidere's arts and entertainment district, but I don't think I really have any artists in my current stable -- I've been focusing more on political leaders. Maybe Shaula, though.

20. Which dragon has the oddest job in your lair?

Hmm ... I don't know if this is the oddest job and I'm kind of discounting some dragons who don't really have jobs, but Elain is a skincrafter. Her job is to create avatars for individuals who enter the Hollow -- to shape them according to the user's preferences and make sure that the person can fully connect to the avatar and use it as they would their own body.

39. Do you still have the first dragon you’ve ever bought?

Yes! He's in my HibDen and doesn't have any current lore but say hi to Kelsus, everyone. I gave him his secondary myself, too.

a fun project ive been working on is making all my friends into dragons and actually putting them in the game! it makes my friends happy, but also its just been a lot of fun figuring it out + planning it as well :)

they dont have any lore (since... theyre just me and my friends), but i HAVE had some pretty good luck with finding fodder dragons who match the exact colors im looking for lol
