forgot to say i spent around 40 mins mucking around off the trail in the woods bc i heard a woodpecker & wanted to see it (spoiler alert: i did not see it 😔)

#sam.txt #it wasnt drumming but it was making its 'plick!' alarm call #everytime i hear a woodpecker it gives me such an adrenaline rush lmao #ive only seen 1 in ireland (a brief glimpse) so i rlly want to get a good look at them #i dont get why theyre so hard to see 😭#i spotted a treecreeper today & they are so small & brown & they climb up trees like mice #woodpeckers are bigger & black-and-white WHY CANT I SEE THEM #im going to bed soon but please give me good woodpecker vibes :(
