Abcovnsobskvnskxjaksd sorry op for having a whole entire conversation on your post but yeah @haqyu that's the thing isn't it? He has decided what he deserves and what is the best way to atone, but that doesn't mean he doesn't want more! That really is the struggle when discussing redemption; the idea is that he is human and deserves to be happy and to get better, but it has to be balanced with growth and restraint and keeping the one he hurt in consideration. Which is why the Endeavor plotline is so important for him because, while Endeavor very clearly wanted to start anew with his family, they either didn't want that or weren't ready for that, and in the end, he gave them their space so that they could be happy - which was well within his means of providing (not everyone can buy a second house lol).
He's trying his best to atone but he's also allowed to have human emotions, allowed to want to be part of that friendship, both of their friendship, but for now he will keep them at a distance until he's reached his goal of helping Midoriya (which, imo, means helping him get better from everything his childhood put him through). I just want him to realize they both keep extending their arms to him because he is a good person and definitely deserves to be friends with them 🥺🥺
I cannot believe Horikoshi blessed us with the whole Endeavor agency arc.
Look at this cute ass shit. This canon fucking cute ass shit.
How do we deserve such a giving mangaka.
#bnha#tdbkdk#bnha spoilers#i spent so long writing and rewriting this and it still feels shitty abxkgnsofjaos#i could also go into the fact that there is no such thing as a good person or bad person but people who act#and they do good things or bad things or both#and they choose to do these things and the intentions may differ from the end result#and its just so complicated but i do love how horikoshi has been handlong both of these arcs
