I have some good news: No one is pretending any of that! You seem to be projecting onto me positions I have never expressed either on or off this website.

Shocking to me how US people on this website are STILL acting like foreigners couldn't possibly understand how wildly varied and diverse their regional culture is because the USA is such a big country when in actuality the USA is like. Surprisingly culturally homogeneous for a country of its size.

I just saw someone say "what people from outside the states don't understand is that there is no unifying "US" culture like there is for most countries" like dude... There a countries a fraction of the size of the US where you travel to another city and people don't even speak the same language.
