Alexander became close to Rosella relatively early on. He wasn’t sure how it happened, but they were drawn to each other. Alex never really questioned it much. No, he just knew that Rosella had been there to hold him through his night terrors. His mother had been, too, but there was just such a comfort of having his twin with him.
Mostly nights were spent that way after Alexander returned home. He apologized fervently for disrupting Rosella’s sleep every night, but she was never upset with him. It was such a stark contrast to Manannan, to Graham-- perhaps that was it. His mother and sister both showed him such softness and love that he’d never known he needed. He couldn’t help but be drawn to them both. Even with his typical sibling bickering with Rosella, they always stood at each other’s side.
