Streamy had gone to Pride’s bar to see him. Now she wished she hadn’t, cause there he was with another woman. They were closer then just friends would be. When Pride kissed the woman, Streamy ran. It hurt to think he would cheat on her and she wanted to cry.

Streamy woke up with the worst headache ever and someone was banging on her door. She yanked it open, intent on giving the person hell, but was shocked to see Gibbs standing there. “Jethro?” She managed out, slightly confused. “What are you-” “-doing here? You called yesterday, crying about Dwayne. I had to wrap up a case first, flew down as soon as I could.” He said, stepping inside. Gibbs closed the door behind him. He pulled her into a hug, smoothing her hair with one hand. “You okay?”

After explaining everything to Gibbs, and crying a bit more, the two of them came up with a plan. With Gibbs at her side, Streamy knew she could do this. Standing outside the NOLA office, she hesitated. Gibbs gave her a gentle push towards the entrance. “Go, get him.” He told her, before he went in and snuck off.

Streamy walked straight up to Pride’s desk. She was surprised he wasn’t in the kitchen or upstairs. She convince him to talk with her in private, leading him to the interrogation room where Gibbs was waiting .

“Gibbs? What is this?” Pride asked, confused by his friend’s presence. “When’d you get here?”

“Sit down,” Gibbs responded, “I’m just the back up.”

Pride frowned but did as he was told. He looked at Streamy, she was obviously upset about something. Suddenly, she slammed her hand down on the table. That threw him off.

“You cheating bastard!” Was the first thing out of her mouth. “I saw you so don’t start denying it! Who is she? No, why did you kiss her? No I don’t want to know that either. I-”

“Now wait just a minute,” Pride cut in. He felt awfully guilty about the whole thing. “if you’d just calm down a second. Let me explain.” Streamy was close to tears, but she gave him a nod. “Okay, fine. Explain..”

“I was drunk, and I know that’s no excuse. I knew it was wrong, I knew..” Pride told her. He stood as he spoke. “She was just some woman who was coming on to me the whole night til I was drunk enough and stupid enough. I’m sorry Darlin’. I truly am, cause I love you.”

Streamy wanted to hug him but she controlled herself. She looked back at Gibbs. When Gibbs gave her a nod, she launched herself at Pride. He caught her with ease, hugging her like there was no tomorrow. “I love you Darlin’, so much.” Pride whispered softly in her ear. Neither of them noticed when Gibbs slipped out of the room.
