AND trans colors (more sweet!)#i dunno why i started inversing her color values...i saw someone do a molly with white hair and darker purple skin#and i decided to do that for jester instead!#everything abt her is light and fluffy and sweet but her eyes and her color itself convey a sadness she continues stubbornly to hide#yasha i didnt put as much thought into fhjdsk im sorry i just love drawing jester#yasha's shroud is more like a comforting afghan...its also green here bc it brings out her eyes n makeup#i drew her shirt as a sweater...maybe one her wife made for her during a more peaceful time?#i sketched her with a bigger hair pouf too i dont know how to make those look good yet#but i like to think her time with molly sort of rubbed off on her! the bulk of her presentation is still guarded and reserved#but things like her piercings and her teased hair up front are ways to convey 1) she's dangerous and dont come too close#but 2) she has some control over how she looks without the influence of evils or grief. just something that looks cool#and that she can decide to wear#i dunno! i havent caught up on cr in a LONG time but i adore drawing the characters#its genuinely like...excellent character design/detail practice i think! im a sucker for it. its been#i dont wanna be too confident i still dont like my stuff but i do think it has been helpful learning more abt character design!#also i doodled this bc i was thinking abt yasha with a unibrow and instantly fell in love#fkjdfh i guess i WAS kinda doing character design stuff sorry for lying in my caption haha
