since i have tried reading a graphic novel that is not persepolis, my life has never known peace. snakes started manifesting in my house physically
#i'm actually gonna go ahead and say don't read the tags because they're way too long and nobody cares not even i care#i just read the synposes of two separate graphic novels by two separate authors and all i can say is: electric chair#graphic novels are quickly overtaking classic novels to become my favorite genre of book#and it is now that i am realizing that there are some NASTY people on this earth#dgmw persepolis has its uh Choice scenes but not like this. not nearly like this#anyways if anyone has some GOOD graphic novel recs let me know ❤️#ok wait i'm gonna keep ranting fjdsll i'm sorry i'm so annoying#i've been OBSESSED with paper girls lately but Certain Scenes in book 2 have me like.... electric chair#i simply do Not trust br/an k v/ughn after some of that nasty shit he put in s/ga#nope nope nope#which sucks cause pg is still my fave graphic novel on the market right now :( it's just SO addictive#i'm also reading pumpkin heads by rainbow rowell and while it's sweet and wholesome and cute it's also really boring#i'm sorry to say because i love the setting and characters and everything :(#i also bought sr and the fire princess because everyone on here knows i love sr#and.... ngl the first like ~30 pages were boring lol so i stopped there and will probably pick it up again when i go back home#it just doesn't capture the magic of the show you know?#and i think that's probably it as far as my adventures into graphic novels go??#wow that's sad how it's legitimately my new favourite genre and i own a total of. 4 books.#actually that's a lie i own all of ms' graphic novels because she's my queen and i love her#so like. what 6 books? 7 at the most? laaamee#i'm planning on reading sheets (forget who it's by) and that one looks cute and wholesome and hopefully not boring#i also wanna read anya's ghost but that's not a huge priority atm#and namona because i trust noelle stevenson but do i REALLY trust noelle stevenson??#hmmmmm 🤔
