10. worst part of fanon

it personally isn't to my taste when ppl treat twst like a dating sim if that makes sense? like i don't have anything against selfshippers or x readers like you do you my guy but. im not the hugest fan of when people will write selfship hcs about the characters that completely disregard the. actual character themselves and reduce the characters to typical dating sim target tropes in order to make the character more "romantic" or. fuck actually you know what om changing topic midway to something i decided i feel more strongly about. the worst part of fanon is the yanderefication of twst characters. its not even really the yandere bit though thats also Not my thing its the mischaracterization. for a lot of twst characters you have to severely mischaracterize them to make them have. Unhealthy possessive yandere behavior and it just gets on my nerves. like actually what im saying is most of the fanon shit that gets to me is mischaracterization of the characters in order to make them more "simp-able". sorry my pet peeve is mischaracterization. this is wjat im like when i see someone absolutely decimatinh a character i care about

okay OKAY time to get more positive. there should be more fanart. of various characters literally just hanging out and getting up to every day shenanigans. nrc is a school full of teenage boys/not-really-boys (excluding lilia and leona for not being teenagers) and i think they deserve. to do stupid shit more often. i also want more daily nrc life illustrations / gen fics T__T i need my mundane slice of life universe fuel. guys please post more slice of life im so average i need it to live. also more aus would be fun i do think the twst fanbase needs more aus in general
