Hello! Sorry if this is an odd thing to ask but I like your emori au a lot and I was thinking about making a playlist for goth mari (if you're okay with it!) but I was also hoping to learn more about her as a character :0 do you have any posts about her that I can look at as a reference point for choosing songs? What are some of the main differences between her personality/lifestyle vs. canon mari? Sorry if that's a lot of questions lol but thanks in advance for your time!

As for her character, she’s pretty much a more introverted version of Mari, she’s deeply introspective and kind of has her head up in the clouds all the time hehe. She has a passion for storytelling on top of music (and of course, spiders!), and she would like to publish novels someday. She’s chill and kindhearted with a playful and mischievous side and her perfectionism is a bit exacerbated in this AU, and she tends to bottle up her negative emotions at times. There’s sibling angst going on with Sunny, as he misses the times when she was more open to him. They kind of drifted away from eachother and closed themselves off as they grew up, but they both make an effort to spend time together when they both can, like working on artistic projects together, usually involving Mari’s stories.

As for the songs for your playlist, if you need her music taste to start from: Emari listens to classical music, goth rock, dark wave and symphonic metal, anything that meets a dreamy, mysterious and magical vibe would fit perfectly. But feel free to put in any song that reminds you of her in general! If you want to share the playlist with me once it’s complete my dms are always open 👀
