my bias towards bright blue backgrounds is really showing in the stuff ive been drawing over the past 2 days

Before you ask no this is not a post about hypnotism or mind control though that gives me some naughty ideas for future posts. This is about that good old Reptilian Mind of mine and how it sometimes hijacks my attention for strangely hypnotic things. This is a compiled list of things I find my attention grasping onto in an almost primal way and enjoying its movement or sound. I am sure you will agree on some of the things on the list and will have your own suggestions to add (feel free to message them to me).

The Ocean

I would find myself listening to and watching the ocean for hours on end on the California coast. I would even make a late night drive to the beach and sit out on top of my car at 1 am and listen to the waves. The ambient sound is hypnotic and something calls out to me making me want to swim among the waves. Maybe its fish part of my reptilian reminding me that all things that walked on land first came from the water.

Fire

The real Snap Crackle and Pop when the flame finds a moister pocket in the wood. I can’t help but feel like a caveman when I am around a campfire letting its radiant warmth toast my hands while my feet dig into the beach and feel the embers warmth saturate the sand. Almost no summer is complete without some late night pyre where we try to escape the first half of our wasted year.

Star Gazing

A rare pleasure to see an unpolluted view of the stars. Living in one of the largest cities in America the lights dilute the heavens allowing only the brightest of stars to shine thru while the brush of the milky way is lost to blackness. I sometimes have to stray Yosemite National Park or Bend Oregan to really drink in the stars or if I am lucky a blackout runs late into a night.

Waterfalls

Insane to think these are natural wonders, imagine all the tropical rains needed to create a constant flow of water to pour off a waterfall none stop or the snowpack melting off the side of a mountain to make this happen. I seen waterfalls in Australia, Thailand, Indonesia, Hawaii, and California. Each time feels almost like a first time which is saying something.

Rain Storms (w/Thunder)

A good thunderstorm to wash away the grime and bring about new life. I admit tropical storms are heavier but far more desirable with the warm droplets compared to a bitter cold shower that we sometimes experience here in California. So many Soccer Games in the rain populate the memories of my childhood. The rumbling booms shaking the windows and sound of pelting rain (especially in the car) are my favorite noises.

Washing Machine

Perhaps not the most hypnotic of the list but given few other options to entertain myself, I have sat cross-armed in a laundry mat lost in my thoughts while my brain watched the swirl of laundry like some sort of screen saver for my optic nerves. This is why the washing machine has earned its place on this list.

Driving Down A Dark Road

Not just hypnotizing but a good way to fringe the edges of your own Sanity is the silent drive from Los Angelos to San Francisco or worse driving thru fucking Utah. So many long distance drives over the years where I started talking to myself like a madman. The night drives were always haunting making me think I would see someone standing in the road with a big fucking machete. 

Bouncing Boobs

My baser instincts are not without connection to my attraction to the female body. Bouncing tits either with a little hope in the heel or a shimmy from left to right still draws my attention more than it probably should. Was undecided if I should share this but in the end, it felt dishonest to try and hide my desires.

Bouncing Butts

Tits are pretty great but so is a nice butt. I have never been picky about the size on either account but women these days are upping their booty game to new levels both working them in the gym and on the dance floor. Tell me you cant look at this pic and not admire her toned bottom.

Digital Content

Something that appeals to the Primal Reptilian side but orchestrated by Primate/Human creativity center. Like a digital love letter, we have found ways to use tech, art, machines, and the culinary arts to entertain ourselves. Jump on youtube and search for “most satisfying videos” and get lost watching them before you go to bed at night.
