This one had a bit of a false start. For the life of me I couldnt' get the motion right.

The gif's pacing was all wrong, the hair started out not moving so it wouldn't have looped right... it looked jittery... i just didnt like it. (she's lip syncing to "saturn five" by inspiral carpets in this one. i ended up not doing any mouth movements in the final one)

so i had a play around with some sine and -cosine charts to figure out where the body and hair should be. I ended up not really using the -cos chart for the hair and just kinda animated the hair to what felt right, but using the sine wave for the body position helped a lot, and it meant i could reuse several frames for the body animation (they would be differentiated by what the hair is doing of course).

This test image uses only 8 frames instead of 12 and looks a little clunky, both because of the smaller amount of frames and also because of which positions are shown in each frame. i also made a 12 frame version (like the final version), which did look a lot smoother, but i didn't save it.

applying a sine wave like movement to Guz's head and body and then fixing the arms resulted in a much more natural, consistent, and easy to loop animation.

so i added the hair jiggling and a little hand movement to imply scribbling in some shading. The hair jiggling is honestly the most fun part.

her body was too stiff, so i um. i made it um. jiggle. and um. yeah it uh. it was too much. lol.

so i basically just averaged it, frame by frame, with the previous version.

Doing the glitter/bubbles visible in the final version was a challenge. I decided that since the hair was moving so wildly, the glitter in it could be essentially random in each frame and it wouldn't really matter. But the glitter on the face had to track with her face or it would look strange. I solved that problem by drawing the glitter on the first frame, then drawing two white dots over the eyes, and aligning the dots with the eyes for every frame (which is similar to how I aligned the highlights).

finally, here's the "concept art" (which i repurposed for the first frame)

and here's the drawing of the Saturn V rocket Guz was making (which i showed in another post). And did you notice that the earphone she's using is the one Uhura uses in TOS? :)

Guz is enamored with the space exploration histories of many worlds, but the ones with large moons (or the ones that are large moons), are her favorite. Imagine not having to wait months for interplanetary maneuvering, or decades for close encounters with your coorbital giant planet.

Lewis Hamilton - Personality and Career Tarot Reading

Here is the reading for Lewis, and let me just say, I think I love him. Genuinely, he seems like such a warm and loving man, that carries so much passion and drive with him that I am down bad. I think that there is a lot of balance too, between the two personalities. It’s really interesting because I see a lot of aspects of his birth chart here too. Outwardly a lot is going on in terms of warmth, passion, and drive, and then inwardly we have sensitivity and introspection. 

While I have not aligned myself with any driver or team or anything, I think that Lewis may be my favorite because his chart and reading are honestly calming. Is this the best way to pick someone to support? Probably not, but who is going to stop me? No one, that's who. 

Outward Personality: The Sun

Lewis Hamilton, the man that you are, has me down notoriously bad. Outwardly Lewis is this source of knowledge to others and offers so much reassurance to those in need. He wants to understand the view of others, and what shapes his views as well. I get the vibe that this is the reason he attracts so many people, the Sun is a source of warmth, comfort, confidence, and finding your truth. It’s being able to hold yourself to high standards but forgive yourself when you don’t reach those standards. 

Inward Personality: Knight of Cups 

I love this because it compliments his birth chart perfectly. Buried under the outward personality there is this sensitive soul that craves love and affection, it’s someone searching for a safe area to let themselves process things and work through the emotions that they are experiencing. I think that there is a lot of peace and comfort in chaos with this too. There is so much confidence in the self that he feels that there is no issue with chaos, he almost thrives in it. 

Future Career: Queen of Pentacles reversed, and Five of Pentacles reversed. 

Pentacles are connected to career and finances, so the fact that I pulled two pentacles here is fitting. I’m not super concerned with the reversal position of either of them, because I think that Lewis has already established himself, so even if there is any delay or conflict, he knows what he needs to do to address it and work on it. 

There is going to be a change in the dynamic between Lewis and Charles, I think that they are both going to have to get used to there being two well-known and dominant drivers on the same team. I think that Lewis being as in touch with his emotions as he is though, isn’t going to be too much of an issue, if anything, I think the issues would come more from Charles than anything. Lewis is going to come into the team, offer a newer perspective, and become an integral part. 

The Five of Pentacles to me is more of the potential hardship that is going to come, I think that there is going to be a period in the upcoming career with Ferrari when he struggles to get into the swing of things. This is probably going to be seen through conflict within the team, possibly disobeying team orders and the potential for medical/health-related challenges. I can see this lasting maybe a handful of races and then things are just going to click into place and things just fit.

I’m noticing a lot of critical degrees, I got a 5th house stellium, retrograde planets. I got the oppositions but that’s normal in my own chart esp Leo and Aquarius.

I’m a Leo sun with 26’ natally so my ego is still the same lmao, More emphasis on career and how I’m being perceived. Which is true at the time of writing this, I’ve found a job that I love but I’m placing more emphasis on how I’m being perceived professionally and which company I’d to actual work for. I think just balancing my self and my ego in that type of way and realizing I need to shine. My thoughts align with this though, I often struggle to put it into words or how I communicate. Definitely really need to think about what I’m trying to actually say (Retrograde mercury and it’s 3’ off from my bc) I’m also struggling with gossip I’m noticing so far; we’re definitely gonna see how this pans out.

(CW) Aquarius moon is an interesting one, esp bc it’s the 4th house. Would mean I need to place emphasis on detachment especially in terms of the weight of the emotions I feel within my home. Which makes sense since I still live at home and would like to move out but I’m feeling more so caged in emotionally and that restriction isn’t necessarily making my mental health any better. Also with the relationship with my mother (hopefully) finally gets better or at least we can understand each other. The moon feels at home in the 4th house, so while this is more ‘easy’ flowing energy. Basically I’m in tune with this feeling and I feel like it’s obvious.

Virgo Venus is the same except it’s in the 11th house and 16’. I think this year I should be more so focused on my friendships and those I choose to surround myself. It’s also holding those that I choose to hold around me to a higher standard rather just having folks around. I’m cherishing them and nurturing them but also having to actually use discernment with who are actually there for me especially with this being in a cancer degree it’s focusing on my friends from my home town and who respects me and my boundaries. Which I had an issue happen involving that recently.

Gemini Mars in 8th house with 19’; I can interpret this in a multitude of ways. Naturally the drive to push through transformation and achieving I would say an unconventional approach to tackling debt. This is a wild card placement so my interpretation is a bit off

Gemini Jupiter in 8th house with 17’; honestly I think Jupiter is really truly my friend. Like he really got my back, with mars and Jupiter in such close conjunction esp in the 8th house. This amplifies the heavy energy that’s the 8th house, however I view this is either I plunge deeper into debt with my obsession of luxury or face it and tackle my debt in a more pragmatic aggressive approach.

Pisces Saturn in 5th house with 17’; Saturn is naturally in my 5th house so I live with a struggle on truly expressing my creative talents publicly and with Pisces here it’s going to take another deeper plunge into the unknown away from everyone. My love life is definitely filled with delusions, and not gonna happen this sr year which I’ve made peace with. It’s definitely giving hopeless romantic and I’m not sure what to do with energy so let’s pour it into my passions, or live in daydreams pick one. Hopefully the retrograde helps the energy flows easier.

Taurus Uranus, 5th house with 27’; More unconventional approach to finances, way I express myself creatively. Trying a new approach within my sexual relationships (with Saturn it’s probably me being single since I haven’t been properly single) I think it’s carving a deeper version of finding a way to give myself some self love and discovery. Approaching my creative projects, hopefully this with the discipline to finish them, investing into them.

Pisces Neptune, 5th house with 29’; once again the critical degrees. Delusion bean, I’m joking but Neptune is at home here, though it’s in retrograde. Expressing self love within my spiritual practices and I think just completely hopefully integrating it deeper within my life and reaching a newer and higher understanding. Essentially building this growth within myself deeply. At least that’s how I’d like to interpret it.

(CW) Aquarius Pluto, 4th house 0’; she’s in her element, in terms of Aquarius pluto. I think it’s the restructuring of how I view my home life, re-evaluating the way I live. Just like the destruction of how I view my home life and what to do about it. I’d like to move but it’s not a right time so building as to how I’m going to move. Not letting social media influence the way I view my living situation and hamper on my mental health. That’s how I view it.

(CW) Aries NN, 6th house, 7’: let’s focus on health. Actually focus on my health, however I’m at odds at how I should approach the way I work and balance my health. It’s trying to find the fine balance, between a chaotic work life balance. Which I constantly am trying to find the balance bc oh boy I’m struggling.

(CW) Aries Chiron, 6th house 23’; Unexpected things happening within my health. And how it ties in to my job. Aries technically rules the head which how I’m going to interpret this is my mental health is definitely tied to my actual physical health. Honestly I’m struggling with my diet and how I perceive myself. I’m having severe disordered eating issues, jumping between struggling to eat and binge eating. I’m working 12hrs some days without eating. Then I struggle to even eat, it’s been a pain to get myself to eat. And I just been beating myself up when I do eat, then I’m just on social media and hating myself because I don’t look like a model. It’s been just aggressive cycling of my emotions and how I am perceiving myself.

Cancer MC 29’; again critical degrees, I’m emotional about my job, but I love her. Building an emotional bond, id like to say just finding my own path in terms of my career and how I can emotionally approach it. I feel at home with whatever I end up with at the end of my sr year. Maybe potentially being carful with who I interact with professionally/potential to build some emotional bonds with more people.

I didn’t do aspects because honestly I feel like I’d be here for awhile and this post is already long enough as is. I hope this helps anyone if it doesn’t oh well off it goes into the void. I used degree theory obviously, with just general traditional and modern approaches in terms of analysis of the signs, as well as placidus houses. And I'm not saying you can't have these thoughts, I just think you should 1) back them up with actual evidence beyond your petty dislike for a character, or at least think beyond your dislike in your interpretation of the text, and 2) not state your thoughts as irrefutable fact.

Like okay. Let's entertain this thesis for a minute. Personally I think being "pragmatic" about your evil deeds in no way makes them better than somebody who's lashing out like a wounded animal. Like you do have the foresight and understanding but you still choose to do the evil deed, that you know is bad? Then you're evil bro. I can try to help you decipher the meanings of your Lilith aspects and such through going one by one.

First, though, I should mention that I'm a bit stumped about the houses you've mentioned. Is your Lilith on a cusp? Lilith should have its own house in your natal chart. For example, as shown in my Cafe Astrology Natal Report, my Sagittarius Lilith is in 6H, despite my 6H in the Placidus listing Scorpio as my 6H.

To start, a few of the aspects you mentioned are ones that don't necessarily affect your expression in life (aspects with the south node, fortune and the conjunct with natal Lilith). These are usually transit aspects (only affect individuals at a particular time), but may also affect synastry (astrological compatibility with partners).

North Node is a bit different, however, because the North node shows your life lessons and where you wish to strive (as opposed to South Node's indication of your comfort/habitual spot). Having your North Node sextile to Lilith indicates that your sense of destiny is easily expressed as long as you stay authentic and follow your inner self and instincts. You have a sense of fulfillment when you achieve freedom, independence and allow your sexual energy to be expressed.

Things get a little more straightforward from here, though.

And now that DnD alignment chart I mentioned...(Or: How the Heck Do Your Kids Have So Many Alignments, Aurelius?)

Explanations beneath the cut:

(as always long post ahead, but I tried to find little moments that I think overall display their alignment tendencies to break up the text!)

First of all, I'd like to establish how I personally interpret the Ye Olde DnD alignment chart in all the many arguments it's inspired over the years. 'Good' is the tendency to act selflessly or for noble pursuits through the means that do not or minimally harm others, 'Evil' indicates more of a self-centered pursuit of interests as well as a willingness to do acts that would make good-aligned characters balk in the process.

'Lawful' is a strong adherence to a code, be it in the actual law, religion, or a personal creed, whereas 'Chaotic' carries a sense of utter disregard for tradition and doing things how they are supposed to be done, usually accompanied by rebellion against a code in turn.

Neutral on the good-evil spectrum, well...here's kinda where the 'doing good things for bad reasons or doing bad things for good reasons' complexities arise. These characters are tempered in their tendencies to act in certain ways. They might do a good deed and then do something more morally complicated, shall we say, the next day. Mind you, this only goes so far. You can't be casually murdering babies and claim to have a 'neutral' alignment even if you just saved a whole orphanage yesterday, for example.

Neutral on the lawful-chaotic spectrum are people who usually are just going about their lives. They're not fiercely devoted to a set of rules, but aren't exactly jumping to throw order into the fire either. This doesn't mean they're entirely disinterested in following laws, but they're probably a bit more willing to bend tradition/laws for their purposes.

Okay, with that out of the way, here's some explanations+alternative alignments, since there's always an argument to be made...

Aurelius: Pretty cleanly stereotypical LG. He has a strong focus on fulfilling his duties as king as well as fostering good in the world. But he does have one unique attribute to me, for such a clean LG: he isn't so caught up in 'duty' that he tries to force everyone else into it, as seen with Emile when he tried to reassure him that he needn't assume responsibility beyond his capacity. He's more of the belief each should aspire to and fulfill what duty they can manage without forcing one's self into a position they are unable to handle, which is very admirable in my opinion.

Leonidas: starts in Lawful Evil, shifts to Lawful Neutral. Leonidas is Lawful, through and through, based on his strong adherence to his personal creeds, even if that creed is more of a chaotic viewpoint. If I could somehow declare him Lawfully-Chaotically-Evil, I would, but ultimately when chips are down he wants order, which is why he's more than willing to quell riots. His order is just one that inspires chaos among others.

He also flat-out changes his modus operandi when Euden beats him, because he actually sticks to his creed of 'might makes right' and thus, Euden's methods are right. While Leonidas is not necessarily incorrect in his hatred of the church in general, given what all they're up to, casually hunting down regular adherents and his wanton disregard for life puts him more in Evil territory. He shifts to Neutral more in the sense of how he's behaving even if his ultimate goal hasn't changed: he's just working towards it differently.

Phares: when possessed, honestly you could argue all three of the 'evils-'. The Progenitor himself is likely Lawful Evil, maaaybe Neutral Evil, but you could argue his overall behavior when possessed is pretty chaotic, since he loves springing in at inopportune times like his freeing of Beren, ambushing siblings as a 'test', and the way he seems to take joy in the chaos he's leaving. All in all, though, I'd say he's not particularly acting for pure chaos nor out of adherence to a creed because of the Progenitor's corruption.

Unpossessed, though, he's more in neutral good to lawful good territory. Phares does show some tendencies to believe they have duty as the royal family, but overall to me he comes across more as trying to do the good thing for the sake of it and isn't so caught up in duty as to stick to it if it's truly causing problems, like how he implores the Halidom scientists to study anything, no matter how heretical, to try and find a solution to save the world.

Chelle: I could see an argument for Chaotic Neutral depending on how morally absolutist you are when interpreting her summer story wherein she's essentially long-term manipulating to set up an actual child as one of her spies in the future by putting her in debt via rescuing her from the streets, which is kinda icky.

Otherwise, she's a pretty solid chaotic good. I mean, we're talking about a woman who prefers other games to Alberian chess because Alberian chess has too many rules in it and brings back deeply forbidden technology because she thinks it's needed. She loves doing things in an unconventional way to win before fights even start, and is a good representation that 'chaotic' alignments aren't just doing stuff at random as some misguided people seem to think. Granted, she does seem to have similar thoughts that there is a duty inherent to nobility, but the way she goes about expressing that? Pretty chaotic, all things considered.

Valyx: if you'd asked people around chapter 6, people would probably say he's Lawful Neutral since he was coming across as a 'law above all else even if the law is doing some messed up things' type, but with everything we know, he's solidly good. His story reveals he did initially try to stand up to his Father, not realizing he was possessed, and when he did figure that out, Morsayati was immediately threatening his siblings with possession and throwing the realm into chaos to get Valyx in line, which he accepted to try and keep the army set free to pillage per Morsayati under control as much as possible.

Beren: he just wants to see all the worlds burn and make them suffer as he has. Perfect microcosm of chaotic evil right there. (also I put this here because I don't know, Beren saying 'okie-dokie' is just funny to me)

Emile: Oh boy. Emile largely acts with complete disregard of others in favor of his own self-interest. He also shuns the concepts of duty as royalty after the long war with trying to measure up to his sibling growing up, overall appearing apathetic to the concept of responsibility in positions of power. He's strongly motivated to make others, in particular Euden, suffer physically and mentally, as well as his attempted enslavement of Mercury when he lies to pact since he views pacting as slavery on part of the dragon. He has huge disregard of life as seen by his random attack of a random village just because he obtained power.

To me, he fits pretty snug into CE for most of the game. After Audric's lessons and similar events, though, I'll give him CN since he seems like he's trying to overall behave better, ie 'not evilly', but it's a loooong slope to even that. At best I could imagine him in the fictional 'accidentally good' alignment, wherein he's not actually good but occasionally happens to do good things in the course of doing something else, like his encouragement of democracy of Dyrenell just because he's lazy.

Euden: he might have strong drives to protect others and be a good prince/leader, but with his overall distaste of actually being a leader and his tendency to relax all the rules and regulations regarding interacting with royalty comes across as 'neutral' to me. He respects laws, but won't let rules about etiquette or going through appropriate channels stop him from busting down doors to get to black market dealers, etc. But he also doesn't entirely approve of completely ignoring the law like Bell- er, Lapis in her Robin-Hood esque thievery or other vigilantism. Easy enough to slap the G alignment from there for NG!

Zethia: Being a head of a church, she's pretty clearly LG. She's strongly devoted to the Ilian faith, and does her best to adhere to the ideals the faith champions. She seems more overall concerned doing things because of her duty as Auspex and royalty both. Like Beren, not much to say here since not a whole lot is up in the air.

Possessed, well, along with Aurelius, the Other definitely seems to bat for chaos even if he proclaims indifference or even pretends to do things the 'lawful' way to continue his façade pretending to be Aurelius.

Nedrick: Nedrick is hard to quantify himself exactly, but I'm afraid his methods by assembling Agito shuck him pretty quick to Chaotic Evil. Even with how every would-be Agito, -excluding Valyx, -donned the beast masks willingly, his willingness to let them run rampant in all their atrocities makes him complicit since he enabled/empowered them to do it in the first place. I'd also hear an argument for himself more on Neutral Evil, but no matter how you slice it, Nedrick is not good aligned.

While I would argue he's not as personally evil as Emile tends to be, more of an extremist 'anything to get what I want done' with disregard if it harms people instead of Emile's goal often being to harm people, his methods and willingness to harm/kill so many still aren't good. He also is rebelling against the order of the world as it stands, which makes me tend towards chaotic even apart of the Agito.

So uh...yeah. The Alberian Royal family spans quite the range of alignments, in my opinion. What do you guys think, though? I'm curious as to how the royal fam comes across to you!

But am also wondering if we might not just end up with some mindblowingly beautiful shit that doesn't get traction or growth publicly. Looking at the time around/after the New Moon, the astrology seems kind of sour and square and just a bit of a struggle to be honest? A very VERY enjoyable episode.  It’s been a while since we’ve had one where there’s so much conversation and RP and it’s a breath of fresh air.

I’m a bit disappointed in Matt for not having the leylines as a projection in the background.  I would have LOVED seeing that get slowly stronger each long rest - or even just only being able to see it once it was ‘full’.   But speaking of leylines, props to Matt for acknowledging the fact that Chetney HAS seen this, two or three times.  I know he didn’t plan for it, his descriptions were very much the ‘this is the most magical thing you will ever see in your life’, but he kept true to the fact that Chet is old as balls.

Good choices all around for the Sendings.  Big fan of Ira being brought back into play, because I feel like he’s definitely going to fuck shit up for the party in one way or another.  He’s powerful, but he’s very much on his own side and I like the dynamic that’s bringing in.

Honestly I am LOVING the dynamic that Laura is playing here with Imogen and her mother.  Imogen knows realistically that her mother is on the wrong side, but there is the emotional desperation to have Mother Know Best and Be Loving and Be Right, so Imogen rationalizes based off of her emotions and craving for connection.  Consistently she has described her mother as needing help the past few episodes, where to the audience it seemed pretty clear that Lilianna was where she wanted to be.  I wouldn’t mind seeing Imogen turn during the battle, not the Dark Imogen like I keep seeing around, but just a daughter desperately wanting to believe in her mother.

I suppose I really should finish EXU Kymal - was this stuff with Opal foreshadowed in it?  I only saw the first half of the first episode and then never got around to actually finishing it.  EXU was not particularly to my tastes (much like how I struggle with some of the one-shots, it was just so CHAOTIC that I couldn’t.  Orym held the only braincell.)

Sam’s faced when FCG flipped the coin for the Changebringer’s alignment!  Laughed so hard I cried and had to go back to actually see the expressions.

I don’t know what I took away from the Ashton and Laudna conversation, except that I’m glad they had it, and I hope they have more.  I don’t think it changed the way I viewed either character, but it has the opening to.

Fearne & Orym!!!!!  Look, I don’t care how small the moments are.  Liam and Ashley have been my desperately wanting scenes of them together, whether Caleb and Yasha, Vax and Pike, or now C3.  I EAT ALL THESE CRUMBS.  BEST FRIENDS FOREVER.

As much as a short combat would have been fun, I’m actually quite pleased that we just got a few storms and a very short encounter ending with a goldfish.  I have a sneaking suspicion that Matt’s random encounter chart was kinder than usual, more designed for poor rolls to delay rather than destroy.

I’m....not a fan of the message bloom.  I actually went and rewatched the moment where Orym got the seed, and it was this quiet serious moment and he was told “you are an Ashari, are you not?  Make it grow.”  and then it’s just a longer one way one time sending?  Pretty big of a let down, tbh.  (though I, much like Orym/Liam, completely forgot about it.)

Keyleth coming in.  How do I feel about this.....  it’s really hard to say!  I think I’m more okay with it because they didn’t ask her for it.  They gave her a status update, but also very easily accepted when she said she was busy - and I don’t see the party changing their minds and trying to push harder, in or out of character.  Keyleth coming to join was very much a Matt decision here, which is why even though I’m a bit iffy about it, I’m more willing to accept.  I’m HOPING that it’s more that she’s fighting Just Off Stage Left the entire time, dealing with The Army That The Bells Hells Would Have Snuck Around Anyway, or something like that.  Have a show of power, have it work for the story, but not actually have it change how the narrative would have gone, if that makes sense.

EDIT: how could i have forgotten to mention the Imogen/Laudna scene???  Shockingly, I’m still not shipping it?  Even with the declarations of I love you, it still feels non-romantic to me.  I’ve seen people say ‘who says I love you to friends?’  um, me.  I have told friends that I am not interested in romantically in the slightest that I love them, and they have said it back to me.  ‘who cuddles with their friends?’ early 20s? me again.  also, fearne and orym cuddle every night.  BUT, I will say that if we get more conversations like this, I can see myself getting more comfortable with the ship.

Very happy that the solstice is going to be likely the next episode (maaaybe one or two more if we have heavy combat/sneaking/etc), because I am so ready for what Matt has in store.   ....though if they do stop it, that’s going to be a hell of a lack of payoff.  I have a strong suspicion (as I think basically everyone watching does) that the Keys are going to work no matter what the Hells do.  On to episode 50!!  (omg are we like halfway through the campaign?  it still feels like it might be a shorter one to me, I can see it only lasting 100 episodes)

My hot take on astrology is that you should probably only do it for yourself.

The way I use it, I align myself with my birth chart (it kinda already made sense for me, lucky me I guess?) and find the areas I'm lacking and pull myself into be a well rounded person.

I'm a Leo, and my whole life I've been told I'm "such a Leo!" And it bothered me. Personally I may look shiny and like bright coloured , and look like I want attention, but in reality I'm very secluded and stay home most of the time (still shiny and bright coloured mind you). I'm almost overly creative to the point that I have to design everything around me, change it, paint it put stickers on it you name it.

However, my partner is also a Leo, and they aren't as outwardly expressive in the same way. I also haven't really read their chart beyond curiosity. I *could* think of a way it applies, but it seems pointless to me. They don't need or want astrology, and if they did, I'd rather them read themselves through their chart than for me to do it.

I used to reject astrology, I used to make fun of it in private and honestly I'm ashamed of myself for doing that. I was *very* naive about it and honestly I think most people are. It's something you can do casually or seriously in my opinion. The only issue is when you read others charts who don't want you to, or you get cause up in your own reading of someone else that you don't take their experiences into consideration.

I don't think I can type this out right now this was just supposed to be a hot take, but long story short, they wanted to create a small perfect community with pretty much everyone sleeping with everyone.

I am ace.

They did not believe me.

They did not believe in asexuality and wanted to cure me.

I am also trans masc and honest one of them just saw me as a floating strap on holder.

They would regularly talk about how I was perfect for them, had me bring my own friends, a friend who shared the others moon sign.

They would bring up our signs to tell us how perfect we were for the group. They kept telling me how perfect I'd be as a flashy queer man bursting with sexual and "top" energy.

It felt like I was in their image, a perfect blend of what they wanted.

That my shyness at the time was cute but the "raging" bisexual Leo was going to come out. (Something about one of my planetary alignments).

I was just learning about astrology, I was just coming out as trans, and I was just figuring out what asexuality was and in myself.

I enjoyed reading MY OWN chart. Alone. My friend did too. They had been doing astrology longer than me but had been isolated from really practicing it because of people around them saying what they do, "it's not real" and "anyone who believes it is stupid" and the like.

I remember having conversations at the time with them, we'd talk about how we understand how our sign feels for us but their interpretations were weird and *specific*. They would talk about chakras and how each of us was perfect for one single chakra (I don't really do chakras not just because of this reason but when looking into it, it gets really.... Weird and.... I'm not really sure about it's origins tbh so I just stay away from it).

This couple wanted to dictate how we felt based on our charts, but not even just the basic "Leo's are loud and flashy" but more and more specific as time went on.

This mind frame is dangerous and led to very depressing and terrifying ends. As the tw suggests. One of them asked the other to essentially "help" me with my asexuality. I won't really be going into details. But basically the one who told the other to do what they did, thought it was a good idea because we have the same sign.

That's it, they wanted community and used astrology (horribly) to do that.

I understand that those who get super into others charts are screaming for community. Sometimes it makes it faster to talk to people, to engage, I get it. Astrology can be fun in that way.

But as someone who has been harmed by the FEW that do this, and I don't just mean weird job bullshit where your boss is obsessed with your chart, I mean literally SA'd because my sun sign was the same and my moon sign was the same, it bothers me to hear people just casually throw out lines like

"you know the star map doesn't even line up perfectly? Right?" (We literally all know and you saying this makes you sound really fucking silly to most of us. Seriously it's not a fucking gotcha at all, it's mostly funny)

Or

"you know all horoscopes are the same and work for anyone right?"

Or my "favourite"

"anyone who believes this is insane."

Do not use this language if you're actually trying not to be ableist for one.

Two not all astrology practitioners believe in it the way you think.

And three (this is really my hot take) if they do believe in it and don't harm others with it, it's actually fine?

Do you, regularly make fun of people's belief systems? Is it fun to you? How often do you do this practice, of dismantling people's beliefs? Who do you do it for? Everyone? Or just the ones that make feel superiour online for like 5 secs?

Astrology (and honestly this applies to magick as well) is only an issue if you expand it beyond yourself to others who have not given consent.

Doing someone else's birth chart without permission, OR if they do not seem enthusiastic about getting it is also WRONG.

I practice Magick and Astrology. And like doing so. My literal belief seems unnecessary to acknowledge if I'm going to be honest. It seems counter productive.

Now making sure I'm not harming anyone or my environment seems more important.

And I think a lot of people for get that when discussing other people's religion or spiritual beliefs.

If you do not want to participate in astrology then actively say that.

Do not trick people, I find it deeply disrespectful and any time I see it it makes me want to scream.

You're issue is with the person not the tool in which they are using.

So stop.

Tricking people with fake birthdays and joking about it is almost akin to tricking Christians with stating things from the Bible.

At best you're stopping a single individual being a dick.

At worst your literally trying to destroy someone's belief system for the sake of being "right".

It's literally spiritual beliefs?

And again if it's only for the sake of stopping harmful actions then it's literally the person using the tool dangerously and THATS what should be pointed out.

Do not use ableist language it's literally not helping, it'll probably make it worse.

And to those who practice Astrology there's only one thing I think we should all universally understand. It's the only thing we need to do in this situation and it's:

Do not read the birth charts of people who don't want you to. It's a pretty intimate thing to do and you can do it very wrong and hurt people. Do it for yourself and those who want you to.

Other than that go for it, take it seriously for yourself or don't. Read horoscopes and understand what it may mean for you.

Whether you think is literal Magick or the "power of perception" honestly doesn't matter.

How you treat others do.

I understand how it feels to be harmed by this practice, but I also know it's not fair to belittle the people who practice either.

1) are they associated with a certain color? what color do they wear the most?

Dang. These two are the most colorful out of any of the OCs.

Twig's color scheme includes bright golden yellow, bright purple, light pink, chartreuse, and bright orange. The former two are the colors of her skin and hair respectively, and the latter three are the colors of the overalls she always wears.

Penny, it's just All The Colors All The Time. Any hue, so long as it's saturated enough, she'll wear it. And she always combines as many in one outfit as she can. If I had to pick a single color to represent her for any reason it'd likely be a bright yellow though. Come to think of it, I've begun doing that with all the OCs when I make alignment chart memes with them, putting each one's name in a different color. Penny's is, in fact, bright yellow. Twig's chartreuse.

2) what sort of music would they like? have you thought about what genres or bands do they lean towards? do they have a favorite song?

I have in fact begun thinking about what kind of music each of my OCs would listen to! I've got a bunch already, I'm planning on making a post for it once I've come up with enough for all of them.

Jasper's music taste? ALL. THE SHOWTUNES. EVER. The amount of musicals he's seen and/or listened to is honestly very impressive. The list contains popular contemporary ones and older classics and a bunch of more obscure stuff, he very much Has The Range. The only OC who's got more musicals under their belt than him is Maddie T. He also listens to a lot of Aurelio Voltaire. When You're Evil is absolutely his favorite song of all time. I think he would also very much vibe with swing music in general. I'm still trying to think of more, but that's what I've got so far.

C.C. is one of the OCs I've got the least on for this so far. I feel like she listens to a lot of pop, and for the most part anything she can move to. Dance to or run to. She might listen to a fair amount of showtunes too though. And maybe a bit of more old-school stuff that like, her parents like. Maybe. Favorite songs for her? I don't know for sure. Three songs I do think she would vibe with a lot though are Invincible from The Lego Batman Movie, Run To Break Free from the Equestria Girls digital series, and Get Your Cape On from DC Superhero Girls. Her playlist that I'm in the process of making is EMBARRASSINGLY short for how long it's been since I started it lkgshgklfsg but it contains those three. Again, I'm working on this.

6) how do they wear their hair? do they care a lot how their hair looks?

Twig generally wears her hair loose. She does have floppy bangs brushed to the sides, and little dangly bits on the sides. I feel like she eventually might start doing a ponytail sometimes. Present day she always prefers it loose though. Oh, and she always wears a pink ninja headband, if head accessories should be mentioned here.

Penny sometimes wears hers loose and sometimes does a ponytail. Maybe occasionally pigtails. She always clips brightly colored fake hair streaks in it, changing up the colors and the placements of them every day.

Neither of them cares a lot how their hair looks, but Penny probably cares more than Twig does. Twig just puts the bangs aside, ties on the headband, and calls it a day, and her hair very often gets messy throughout the day and she doesn't give it a single thought. Penny might make some effort to keep hers neat, and she finds enjoyment in putting the colored streaks in every morning and tying it up when she feels like it.

7) favorite animal? why?

Allets might feel a weird kinship / sense of connection with stymphs for some reason. I dunno, I just feel like these giant skeleton birds might seem oddly majestic and fascinating to her. And hey, they like Evers, don't they? If their behavior towards Agatha was any indicator. I feel like she might be good at bonding with them.

Eliote...this only just occurred to me, but, what if when she was really little she loved unicorns and she kinda. Never fully grew out of that really. It sounds dorky as heck, but I do like to think Eliote's dorkier than she tries to be and I have been trying to think of more ways of showing that. Dorkiness might also be offset a bit by the fact that SGE unicorns are not the rainbow-sparkle-sprinkles kind they're the moonlight-ish ethereal kind. I think in the life-with-my-OC-squad scenarios, upon first being faced with the other portrayal of unicorns she'd kinda consider it an insult to actual unicorns' majesty and scowl at it in front of anycreature else but deep down she'd think this kind of unicorn is cute as heck and love it just as much.

8) do they have a nickname? who gave it to them? if it's not derived from their real name, what's the story behind it?

Luna's father has been calling her "lunatic" and "luna moth" as pet names pretty much since babyhood.

Jewel, if that magic tree or the magic plants that were once her parents can communicate with her in words--which they probably can, considering she knows language and is fully able to speak--they might affectionately call her their little ruby or sapphire or whatever other kinds of jewels. Maybe some plant-based pet names too, they might call her their little flower or bud or sapling.

Maddie T, well, "Maddie T" IS a nickname, Maddie is short for Maddison and the T is for her middle name Teabag. I dunno how it started, I feel like it started early on, maybe it was a distinguisher in kindergarten from somecreature else with the same first name, maybe she's just kinda always been called this for reasons unknown, I dunno.

C.C., likewise, is called by her nickname all the time. Or at least a bunch of the time. It stands for Carol-Caitlyn. Like Maddie T, I dunno how it started but I feel like it started early.

Jasper, I feel like C.C. would sometimes call him Jasp, maybe other people do sometimes too, but other than that I think it's just his given name and his supervillain name.

9) favorite food? least favorite? are they a picky eater? do they have any dietary restrictions?

I don't think either of them are picky eaters. I haven't thought about either of them having dietary restrictions, but now I'm wondering whether or not to give Jasper a peanut allergy.

C.C.'s favorite foods are pizza, fairy bread, and fluffernutters. Possibly cupcakes and/or cookies too. Jasper I also feel like would be particularly partial to cupcakes and cookies of any kind.

I can see C.C. hating raisins. And Jasper hating prunes.

11) what do they have in common with you? how are they different? would you get along with them?

I would definitely get along with them. They're arguably the biggest self-inserts of the bunch XD

Penny shares my love of bright colors, glitter, arts and crafts, music, singing, and musical theater. She also shares some of my sense of humor and a good deal of my music taste. Her upbeat, energetic, and cheerful personality/disposition and emphasis on positivity and optimism are also very reminiscent of me at the time of my first creating her. She also had her life majorly, traumatically, and irreversibly upended at pretty much the same point in it that I did, and, like me, she suffered like heck for a year or so and then began to just throw herself headfirst into All The Happy Things All The Time to distract herself from her misery and kinda brute-force herself into positive thinking. In a lot of ways she basically IS me minus everything I've been through the past three years. As to differences, I feel like she's more extroverted and less socially awkward than me? And she's also girlier.

Twig...Imma be real, like 80% of her personality and of like, EVERYTHING about her is just literally me when I had been alive the same number of years or less. Literally so many of her quirks and idiosyncracies and specific things she has issue with and specific responses to things are just me in elementary school. Differences — she cares more about fitting in and what people think of her than I ever have. And some of my own main insecurities and fears are not ones that she has. Like she lives in a society where age matters a lot less than it does in ours in a lot of ways so she doesn’t have my deep-seated jillion-layered crippling fear of the entire concept of growing up, she’s mostly just kinda indifferent about it. She's also more athletic than me.

17) how did they spend their summers/free time as a child?

Luna? Pranking people. Duh. Also reading. Playing board games and card games and stuff with her parents.

Jewel? Exploring the island. Climbing around in the trees. Reading. Observing and sometimes befriending animals. Swimming in the ocean or any lakes or ponds she came across. Playing with her gem-and-plant powers.

Maddie T? Reading. Drawing. Painting. Singing. Playing all kinds of games with her parents. Baking, maybe? Doing all kinds of random stuff like trying to build A Thing out of random objects or coat something completely in mud or paint a dog's fur. Maybe a bunch of different wacky Wonderland-specific activities that I can't think of rn.

Penny? All kinds of arts and crafts. Watching movies and TV. Running around outside. Playing with her dog, her friends, her family. Putting on music, often singing and dancing along to it.

Twig? Reading. Scrapbooking. Parkour. Slingshot target practice. Exploring the forest around the village. More recently, hanging with the Snack Pack and going along with whatever they happen to be doing. And also making some attempt at befriending Branch if she runs into him.

19) are they quick to anger? what sets them off?

Luna gets angry quickly if people insult her or otherwise mistreat her, or if they insult or mistreat her family.

Jewel is slow to anger. If somecreature makes it clear over and over again that they're just a cruel person who doesn't care what damage they cause to others, she can build up into anger at them sooner or later though.

Maddie T I feel like used to get angry when people made fun of her, in like early to mid elementary school. These days she's slow to anger and it's hard for me to think of anything that would truly set her off.

Penny's not quick to anger, though probably not particularly slow to anger either. If you just are a straight-up jerk then she'll get angry. Not FURIOUS unless it's really really bad and/or repeated a whole lot, but she will get angry.

Twig, Twig IS quick to anger. She has a jillion little pet peeves, and just about no tolerance for teasing. It never takes much for her to scowl and snap at people. Doesn't often go farther than that, but it easily can if you keep pushing.

21) their favorite place to be?

Allets, pre-story that would be either her room, the castle library, or outside like in the gardens. Oh! Maybe also the bathroom! I feel like she could very much appreciate the kind of privacy and sense of safety that bathrooms bring. Post-story it's all those plus anywhere her friends are. And maybe SGE in general since it's the most freedom she has from her parents. In life-with-my-OC-squad scenarios, her favorite places are her room, the bathroom, and maybe the house the OC squad shares in general. I feel like she'd also oddly enjoy graveyards.

Eliote, pre-story that'd be the place she's set up camp in the woods. Post-story, anywhere her friends are, especially Allets. In life-with-my-OC-squad scenarios, her room.

22) do they sleep well at night?

Penny, LOL, NOPE. Being a vampire makes sleeping easier in the day than in the night for her, but the rest of the world doesn't work like that so she can't just be fully nocturnal. I think Lakeside Academy tries to work with that aspect of vampirehood to some degree but whatever they do for that it's not just having them take classes in the night and sleep in the day and I dunno what the exact details are. Plus she tries to be awake for both sunrise and sunset to watch those happen. So yeah, I have no idea what this girl's sleep schedule is but I know it's a MESS.

Twig, kinda yeah. She's a bit of a night owl, goes to bed between like 11 and midnight most nights and takes awhile to fall asleep once she's in bed. But once she's out, she's fine.

23) how would you describe their voice? can they sing?

I. Do not know. How to describe voices. XD I really wish I did. Most I know is that they sound their age. XD

And yes, they can both sing. Jasper especially perhaps, I feel like he would know more the technicalities of it and be more like, trained at it. C.C.'s untrained but she can carry a tune well.

28) how do they show that they care about someone? how do they express that they don't like someone?

Luna shows that she cares about people by just, being willing to spend time with them and talk to them. And also by taking revenge on anycreature that does them wrong. If she doesn't like somecreature, she'll be especially cold when interacting with them, and they'll be the target of a lot of her pranks. She'll also bad-mouth and make fun of them to her parents (and, post-story, to her friends, especially Jewel).

Jewel shows she cares about people by taking interest in them, by paying attention to them, listening to them and asking them questions about themselves. Also by just electing to spend time with them. If she doesn't like somecreature, she'll avoid being around them, and if forced to interact with them, she won't be angry-ish about it (unless she REALLY hates them) but will make it very clear the whole time that she Would Rather Not be interacting with them and Does Not Like them. That sounds vague lksjgklsg it's like. They could pick up on the vibes she's putting down and ask her why she's being Like That and she would just say in a fairly neutral tone, "I don't like you." Possibly followed by like "you do XYZ and that's mean." or something. If they needed to ask at all.

Maddie T shows she cares about people by electing to spend time with them and by giving them nonsensical-sounding advice. She shows dislike for people by ignoring them and by taking nonsensical-sounding verbal snipes at them.

Penny shows she cares about people by going out of her way to spend time with them, giving them things that she crafts, and trying to cheer them up when they're sad. If she doesn't like somecreature, she'll avoid interacting with them, say negative things about them to her friends if they come up in conversation, and if she's forced to interact with them she'll be kinda deadpan-glare-y and like "yeah yeah in other news have i told you you suck?" or "get lost, buttbrain 🙄😒" at them.

Twig shows she cares about people by going out of her way to spend time with them, talking with them, and giving them things that she crafts. If she doesn't like somecreature, anytime she has to interact with them she'll be visibly and audibly annoyed the whole time.

30) do they smell like anything notable?

Luna, no.

Jewel, probably dirt and flowers.

Maddie T, spray-paints. And possibly tea.

33) if applicable, how would your other characters describe them? i mean specifically the people around them.

C.C. -- Funny, kind, a go-getter, dedicated, always wanting to help people, good at art, has a way of bringing cheer to people through her presence. A bit dangerous to be around what with how easily her powers get out of hand, but it's hard to care THAT much given how uplifting and funny and kind she is and everything.

Jasper -- Kind of a dork, huge nerd, overdramatic as heck. Great at building the things he builds though. And he's an idea MACHINE, zany schemes for DAYS goin' on in that brain of his. Oddly good at lifting people up when they're down too.

35) do they ever return home?

Penny, I don't know. Probably not. (metaphorical)

Twig, I don't know what you mean. She never left. (both literal and metaphorical)

The shadow magic cave system stuff that makes these guys really just spat this one out and said fuck you you've got teeth problems XD I'm so sorry this probably isn't an actual thing that happens I'm just like this, so for some reason his mouth had too many teeth which caused many problems, he has teeth growing on top of each other and being forced sticking out, tusks growing out through his skin a broken tusk that's definitely infected, probably infections in his gums from his teeth being whack uncomfortable drooling from the pain and probably bad breath tbh not that their mouths smell good normally but extra ew. So eating is incredibly hard prey smells his mouth and is put off by it, his bulbs are weak sauce not very good glow bad illumination hard to get preys attention (sorry bout that) and honestly trapping and suffocating prey is difficult when your mouth hurts. I just made him and made his life difficult. I imagine he's got more of a weasely body shorter than Xep from feet to ears but longer than her from snout to before tail end. I think he has the biggest tail mouth so far out of all 3? I'd have to do a size chart he's definitely bigger than bun and I do want to give him the biggest chompers. I tried to keep fur color patterning realistic but plain as I wasn't sure on how far patterns could be pushed before it became a different coat type. I also tried not to give this one pink bulbs as the past two have been pink....instead he became pink and arguably purple is just pink, I can't win pink bulbs just too dang good. He was meant to have a much more blue color scheme in my mind he was blueish aligned but it didn't look nice so he pink.

As modern hes a class traitor lmao, I feel as he struggled he planned to leave caves to try life in the human society world and got snatched up by some people who saw him and went "oh poor thing look at it!" and he was promptly given drugs and veterinary care to remove his extra teeth and help with his infections. They realised after oh yea this is one of those creatures they're apparently quite smart. And he revealed yea he is. The people had already paid the vet bill by then (he had been careful to pretend to be 'knocked out' he didn't want no bills), so he was a free man. He actually keeps in touch with them they did him a solid he does appreciate it, and has his own job and such and housing ect. He went to the dentist about getting his remaining teeth straightened as they were still whack and they gave him anaesthetics to do it, which he found rude like yea sure he probably would've pretended to bite an arm off, maybe actually, doesn't mean they should give him drugs. Like sir. Sir you know fine well you would've bitten someone dont bullshit me. In all honesty I just wanted to add braces to his design to show how 'human' he is in a way how different he is to my wild Xatts, his modern design came first then I decided to give his younger self dental issues. I also love how his chest boof turned into an almost tie illusion, he also has scars from struggling in the wild before joining society which is funny the one guy doing taxes is the only one with visible scars. That's life and I wanted to do scars adds interest to character designs

Currently outside his job he engages in trade and business with Xep, this was after falling for the lure of Bun outside a cave and being a bit worried cause Xatts don't usually leave the caves are you lost do you want a help footing in the outside world? (human society seems to have made him soft). And was promptly jumped by Xep and nearly robbed before she realised annoyingly he had nothing she wanted. From then on after a bit of arguing they worked out a business deal she had human items she didn't want that he could pawn off and then use that money (keeping a percentage for himself of course) to get her things she would want. Bun doesn't think much of him, thought he was a traitor naturally at first but he quite liked her and thus immediately lied saying he in fact was not there willingly! Oh no! He had in fact been trapped-no taken by people while unconscious who were now holding him for money for doing stuff as he was unaware taking out his old teeth and he had no choice but to work to get money to pay them back. The lies coming a bit too easily and quickly, can't help it he's become a liar by habit and he does feel bad later for painting his human society companions like that but, they'll never meet so it'll be fine neither will know the truth. He's slightly nervous around Xep naturally even though he lives with humans her behaviourisms are all wrong for Xatts she's hard to read and it makes him vastly uncomfortable at times but she has things that are sellable and he likes a bit of business, nothing wrong with extra money in his pocket, and they can talk about human things sometimes and it's nice to not have to explain something in detail that she just knows what he means. Meanwhile him and Bun are civil with each other, I imagine he got a bulb cap for her chipped bulb to cover the top as it honestly probably causes sensitivity and ringing so the cover helps block that out until her bulb regrows fully or to a state that it's not hypersensitivity so she appreciates that even if it's from the people world.

But that's my new boy he's not named yet, I had actually done a quick search trying to find a name but alas short attention span nothing jumped out. For now he's probably just Weasel.
