#i should also make an analysis on tina’s relationship with her parents but it’s also quite obvious how much they love their teeny tina

Okay, as much as I adore Bob and Gene’s father/son relationship, I adore Linda and Louise’s mother/daughter relationship just as much. I think I fell in love with it after Mother Daughter Laser Razor and especially after Thelma and Louise except Thelma is Linda.
People like to say for some reason that they don’t like each other. Which is proven completely incorrect if you actually watch the episode. Linda did actually mistakenly think that Louise didn’t like her, but Louise makes sure to set the record straight. Not to mention how much their relationship has developed as the show has gone on.
These two are so similar it’s kind of insane. When Linda was younger, she was exactly like Louise. Maybe even a rowdier, crazier version of Louise, which I didn’t even think was possible. Linda always talks about how she used to walk on the wild side as a kid. She didn’t like authority, she loved pulling pranks, and she loved getting revenge on people who wronged her (though she definitely went way too far with it). I still can’t believe she kept calling someone’s house, pretending to be a serial killer. I love you, Linda, but oh my god 😭
Louise has also been shown to admire Linda’s actions on occasion. Like the time Linda was bored and alone in the restaurant for awhile and rearranged the menu letters to spell something inappropriate (I can’t remember what it was, but Louise loved it). Plus, Louise was actually quite impressed with Linda’s track record of pranking when she was young. And of course, Linda is super supportive of everything Louise does. She even gave Louise brass knuckles for Christmas!!
I just adore these two. They love each other so much if you actually watch the show, and they actually seem to admire each other. Sure, Louise can get annoyed by how upbeat Linda and can be, and how Linda always loves traditionally girly things like throwing sleepovers. But these two definitely have a sweet bond. They definitely have the potential to be chaotic partners in crime.
I still love how Linda busted Louise out of detention once because she wanted Louise to know that helping people is worth it, and she wanted to reward her daughter for doing a good thing. How sweet is that??
After watching this scene, you cannot look me in the eye and say that Linda doesn’t love Louise so much:
