a lot of AI art discourse with regards to hobby artists reads just like the people railing against picrews or gacha dress-up games in the comments of every "draw your OC" meme on Pinterest. heck, it reads like the people morally denouncing box recipes in the comments of every recipe site. like. obviously don't use ppl's work without permission + don't forge + artists need employment protections the same as any workers but some people just hate fun
