okay something weird i’ve noticed is how both “how can you be a lesbian if you’ve never been with a man, so how do you know who don’t like men?” and “well you’ve been with a man, so there’s no way you can be a lesbian” exists in our society and it’s so fucking annoying.

like there’s no “right way” to be a lesbian, and no matter what you do people are never going to believe that some people just don’t. like. men. they can’t fathom the fact that some people do not center their lives around men.
