#i just listened to lunarsolar oh ya ya ya because idk i was bored and it was in my recommendations#i saw on twitter that yoojung apparently congratulated them on their debut#idk anything at all about them but damn i love yoojung haha thats so sweet#i wonder if she knows any of the members? i assume she doesnt though and yoojung congratulated them just cause she's a really nice person#anyway#the song is fine#i'll listen to it some more i think just to get a better feeling of it#its not anything out of the ordinary really#it's not as generic as i thought it was gonna be from the first couple seconds (with that steel drum...) so thats good lol#and the mv had a budget which was surprising to me lmaooo im not used to 2020 kpop music videos with budgets#i mean not a super high budget but like... more than weki meki had... lmao#that steel drum was in boca and i dont super mind it there bc i love boca... and its in 3ye yessir... and probably so many others#that i just cant remember off the top of my head... i definitely feel like ive heard it a lot this year#im not wild about 2020's genre trends... i like boca but in general im not on board with how half of all kpop songs now are latin themed#like moombahton or things like that#its not automatically cultural appropriation i guess but it veers close enough to that realm that i just get uncomfortable#the other 2020 trend has been really abrasive dubstep edm shit lmao but i think thats just an sm thing (and loona)#and im into that one haha though it is getting a little stale. they even slathered it over the seulrene songs hahaha#WAIT not steel drum... steel drums are much lighter sounding... whats the word im thinking of... you know the drum sample i mean right?
