miles and miles g developing the cain instinct for each other rather quickly mostly due to the fact that miles 1610B is still pretty social (different from actually being able to make friends) and he’s never seen another version of himself before, but it comes as kind of a surprise and seems like asshole behavior to miles g, who i assume would be more reserved and not as quick to pick up on the “i’m not serious” nature of the threats? because i mean, living in e42 as the prowler means he gets exposed to these threats more often, and probably isn’t making that many friends due to grief and a sense of “duty to help mom before all else” he’s going through, AND because miles 1610B has freaky ass powers that can kill if not careful enough… he’s probably not gonna be pleased if Miles randomly tells him “go jump off a bridge” or chases him with a somewhat sharp object like siblings who’ve grown up together would probably do! but i feel after the initial distaste, he finds it funny and nice to bond over because it’s not often you can casually threaten with people who know you don’t mean any real harm, so i imagine it’s even less likely in e42 for an only child with a working mother and only his middle aged uncle to relate to.

also, even with all this, i think they wouldn’t get all buddy buddy immediately even after they team up? it depends on how btsv goes, but i think miles is probably still hurting from learning his lesson the first time he became devoted to people from a diff universe because he teamed up with them to save the world. he still befriends miles g, but with more caution that does tend to get misread as “i’m not befriending a prowler— a horrible criminal” and that paired with the causal sibling-like threats, not a very good mix if you want a friend!
