i was watching saw (2004) earlier as one does, and when Lawrence is on the phone with Diana, Adam looks scared. maybie he knew then that even though he hadn’t been killed yet that by the man across from him who he had been possibly trying to earn compassion from for his life, he try to kill him anyways? his daughters voice had helped him make his choice? after all Lawrence had a goal, something to go back to, something Adam didn’t have the luxury of.

i know there’s plenary of talk about how adam felt waiting for Lawrence but how early do you think adam knew he wasn’t making it out of that bathroom?
