okay i lied i wrote an epilogue despite telling myself i wouldn't bringing my total word count for today to 7,188. before today, the biggest number of words in a single day was 4,401 exactly ten days ago. before that? 4k, sure, back in 2013. (i was on a time crunch because my fic for the DeanCas big bang was due; those were the days).

like holy shit. today i broke a personal record in the nearly two decades i've been writing by almost doubling my previous record. i'm going to bed now. updating that outline is a problem for later me.

#text tag #numbers make my ND brain happy so i keep meticulous writing records. sadly i have nothing before 2015.#i remember the 2013 sprint because it was during a partial eclipse and i was awed by how my brain handled it #ie by disassociating so hard that after an entire day of not eating or drinking i was shocked by the numbers. just imprinted in my memory.#i'm a lot better about it now. i keep a huge ass water bottle on my desk and whenever it runs out i force a break to go refill and stretch.#i also keep a bag of pistachios next to my monitor.
