irt the interactivity i dont know much about the oathbreaker path but i do know despite the devtime given in the end it was still released under crunch/rush which is why the latter half of act 2 and a lot of act 3 are so uh... unfinished/buggy/companion interaction kind of trails off. and why act 1 seems to have so much more consequences/characters commenting on everything than the later game . im not sure if this is spoilers or if you know this already
i have heard of it, i think i mentioned before you can rly tell up until which point in the game the whole thing was playtested properly. bc when you enter act 3 (and the last half of act 2 as you said) it starts showing all sorts of buggy messes. not a spoiler for me so dw, ive finished the game once a month ish ago and definitely vividly remember the mess it was in act 3... especially with how act 3 has so much shit in it, making it extremely overwhelmed, and also like super damn unbalanced?? not to speak on how the only properly wrapped up companion quests are astarion's and shadowheart and maybe lae'zel's (wyll was done so terribly dirty that when i think abt it it leaves such a bad taste in my mouth lmfao)
the game could've been perfect if they didn't crunch like crazy because now they're still updating the game as if it were still in EA which doesn't make a lick of sense, at least theyre not like paid dlcs (for those who paid for it) but jesus lol
#asks#i have a Lot of thought and Criticism for bg3. Mind You. even if i play it/like it to some extent#i remember getting to the ansur fight and being so excited and then.#you know.#that fucking happened.#like and in general you have so many camp-night event conversations with astarion unprompted#meanwhile the other companions have the bare minimum. IF ANY AT ALL. looking at wyll.#IDK I JUST HATE THIS WHOLE THING.#the lack of interactivity between companions and even tav makes the game seem much less lively than it sells itself for.
