Complete Mess came on while I was in Publix and let me tell you, it is a bit weird to hear a band playing in the store while you’re listening to them on your phone (and also to hear a song that came out over a year ago)

No, I totally feel you, every time I have a random encounter with them in a store I'm like

Because it's always the most random moments? Like it's funny you say complete mess because the 2 most recent situations that happened to me were with cm and it was the weirdest thing ever because I went into the same store in different days with like a week between visits and cm came on while I was there on both times and I was SO confused. Slsp and youngblood are the songs that startle me less, because they are big, I also got easier and teeth a few times, but back 2019 right after teeth came out, I was in a random ice cream shop and more came on. I legit froze. I had no idea how to react to the situation (turns out the person controlling the music just let a youtube mix play and since the playlist had teeth, easier, yb, and some random rock songs I guess the algorithm thought it was a good fit? I was disappointed, I thought that was the day I was gonna find a 5sos fan in the wild lol) but honestly is so so so weird considering they haven't released anything new in over a year and 5sos5 didn't have a big radio hit.
