Hey remember in the "Ruined" episode when Edd pushed Tom into a bunch of booby-traps? The brutality wasnt shown on-screen but Tom was yelling for his life, had an arrow lodged through his head and was covered in blood. Pretty gory if you ask me. The scene was part of a joke. A bad joke but one Edd himself made nonetheless. I really dont agree w/ this sort of humor either but I thought id point out that Eddsworld does/has. TBATF might be trying to mimic that? Giving them the benefit of the doubt.

Nah nah there's a pretty big difference between Ruined and the comic. All of the traps aren't shown on screen so there's no real gore, unlike the comic where they were told many times by many people to tag the gore and refused. The scene was NOT funny because it was just a man getting brutally beaten to near death. Ruined had a monotone character listing out what was happening to him and by the next scene it was clear he wasn't actually hurt and would live. I just can't give them the benefit of the doubt when they're just so shitty about this stuff.

i just got here so idk if this was mentioned yet, but the tbatf team has refused to tag something at least once. a comic page had extreme gore and they argued with the anon telling them to tag it just because the page was behind a nsfw wall. (it was later revealed that it was tagged the whole time which i Swear it wasnt but the fact that they argued about it even though the mod didnt know it was tagged. really says something)

Oh geez
