oh btw PSA for people using twine. don’t use the search and replace function it will break your game
#learned that the hard way and fucked up all my files lol#i recovered them but unfortunately now have one massive twine file rather than two smaller ones :/#not even sure what happened but i was trying to rename a variable that was in multiple passages#and it broke all of the passages that the variable appears in#which i assume it would do to any word regardless if it's a variable#so. do it manually LOL#thankfully i had literally Just backed it up and was working on the early access so i had a file from only a few hours ago#i could restore it with#but it was combined w the ch1 file so again. now i am stuck with one massive file...hrng#ive used search and replace before with no problems so idk if this is just. a random thing or a Recent issue#be careful out there :sob:
