This might be a "hot take" or whatever, but I think the MCR fandom has a serious problem with letting go. Like, yeah, it'd be really awesome if they did release a new album, but we also need to be okay with it if they don't. The music and the community will still be there even after they stop touring, stop making music, even after all the members are dead. Maybe I'm overreacting a bit, but what with the whole "Paper Kingdom leaks" debacle, it's feeling more and more like the MCR fandom is getting increasingly desperate for new content to a harmful degree. That album was scrapped for a reason, we aren't even supposed to be listening to it. We don't need new content. We don't need MCR to keep touring. I know this band means a lot to a lot of people, it means a lot to me too, but we have to respect the wishes of the band, and if that means that they never get back together, we have to make peace with that that. It probably sounds cheesy as fuck, but I'm being serious when I say that we'll carry on.
TDLR: We don't need MCR to get back together. We'll survive with the same music we always have. Even after the band is gone, we keep going. We keep fighting.
