that’s a detail i wish to see in fics more. barty will have the laziest grimiest tinder hookups that he ubered to his apartment but whether you’re the love of his life or he’s never speaking to you again: everyone is getting the same pancakes. it’s cause he wakes up at 6am with no alarm every day so he might as well. consolation pancakes. they’re not super fancy but i think he does an artful nutella swirl in the batter & there’s probably a berry compote involved. a mint garnish. and he’ll set you down with the pancakes and some really bad instant folger’s coffee and he won’t have any himself he’ll just watch you eat them while he’s sipping his own coffee in silence. and they’re the best thing you’ve ever had
