i really should reread i was born for this. i keep getting iwbft content on my dash and it's making me realize i don't remember half of what happaned in the book
#iwbft#radio silence alice oseman#silly rambles#i read loveless right after i read iwbft#bc loveless had just come out and i bought them together but iwbft arrived earlier so i read it first and then read loveless a week after#and reading loveless was such an emotional experience that i think it overshadowed iwbft for me#i absolutely love loveless#but iwbft deserves better than this#i remember having lots of fun reading it so it doesn't deserve to live forever in loveless's shadow#i will definitely have to come around to rereading it soon

same for me, i realised it's because the only other fictional lucas i know is from stranger things so yeah...
(i also had a similar problem when i read loveless right after iwbft and there weren't many descriptions of her hair so i imagined her to wear a hijab like angel/fershteh)
Thought of the day: am I the only one who can't imagine Lucas from Solitaire as a white, blond guy with standard straight hair? I can only imagine him being black with his very dark skin and curly hair. To me it makes a lot more sense.
