#back to the future#i read a book about dinosaurs while i was camping and now im back and its all i can think about#like the fossil bandits in the late 19th century West? hired by competing academics and theyd like. sabotage and shoot each other to get fo#sils? anyway my brain was like 'what if hill valley is a dino hotspot and local boy marty mcfly gets caught up in the bone wars'#except doc brown is one of the academics instead of marsh and cope actually gets his hands dirty instead of hiring people to dig his fossil#obviously it means that biff is one of the dino bandits hired by a competing academic#idk just tickles me to displace doc brown from mad nuclear physicist to mad palaeontologist#whether or not he still has a time machine in this au is not yet clear to me
