also.... ya'll see that... bulge...😶? i'm 90% sure peach is actually a male 😶 apparently it's super rare for a parthenogenetic baby to be a male. so not only was it incredibly rare for kiwi to have a parthenogenetic baby, now there's whole other level of rare in the fact that it turned out to be a male gecko.

apparently female geckos have ZW sex chromosomes, and males are ZZ, so it's possible for females to create males without breeding with a male!
