#coo (kirby)#my art#'owltism' joke also from veveisveryuncool. too good to pass up.#i picked a Dusky Eagle Owl (ketupa coromanda) for him for these reasons:#they come in muted greys which COULD look a little purple in the right light. they have a pale striped tummy. eagle owls typically have-#the little “ears”. i originally did those more realistically but the silhouette sadly did not read nice so i went back to his og crest#they also have heavy eyelids like his canon design! considered a spectacled owl (for the eye markings) but this one won out.#also this was just a quick thing so these three image are very heavily referenced from image search photos! right down to poses.#sorry to the folks who voted for his canon design. hopefully you'll still like this!!!
