i kinda wish there was a way to gift away digitally purchased games when i'm done with them. i have a handful of games on steam that are one and done experiences, or are games i just didn't like much, and i'm not gonna play them anymore.

like, i'd gladly give away my license to use the game to someone else, like a friend of mine, if i could. You can let people borrow physical copies of games, so why not digitals?

#espy talks #i just played an EXCELLENT game but i don't see myself going out of my way to play it again #even for completionists sake #i payed full price for it on a whim (20 bucks) because the demo was amazing #and spent the last week fixated on it #but it's.. a linear story based puzzle rpg game #and it's time loop mechanic made me go through a looooot of the same dialogue over and over #and it was worth it the one time but #unless theres a secret bad end or somethign that changes it substantially it's not worth keeping?#i might replay it once in like 5 years #i dunno #it's a good game! but i just wish. i could share it?#hand it over to someone who'll give it the love it deserves #i just feel sad seeing all these games in my inventory #like. they're lonely. discarded. forgotten #and a waste of money #i'm also just. sad lately #so that's messing with my perception rn
