Listen im someone who prefers books over digital copies and hardcover over paperback so I just went looking for Táin bó cúailnge AND THE HARDCOVER VERSION IS AT OVER 800 QUID?? holy shit— a lot of these books r so damn expensive, this is wild

(i'm guessing some kind of first edition of kinsella? i think it had a fairly small print run at first so that would count as a rare book probably. but the regular paperback editions of both kinsella and carson are like. regular book price. like £8.99. i don't recommend stuff that's at academic prices of a couple of hundred pounds because nobody here has that kind of money lmao. if you're really desperate for hardback, you'd probably be better off buying the paperback and paying to get it rebound tbh, i don't think they've released a hardback of kinsella in a few decades so that would be harder to find)
