his poor attempt to provide shelter for a stray cat was to bend down and hover his jacket over it. the sound of rain falling on different areas. and with such little time, he could make out different objects. the rain hitting the concrete was angry. the rain falling on a rooftop itched his ears. then there was the most prominent one. the rain falling over the plastic— the umbrella she was holding on top of him. a doll. her hair, her uniform. she were fully a victim of rain. pretty like a doll nevertheless. the nonchalant girl in the same class as takemitchy’s girlfriend. he knows. and how could he not fall for her? the mysterious ones are everyone's type.

he doesn't have time for relationships but he always has time for that one girl. a girl he hates. a girl he knows since his childhood. a girl who's the little sister of his best friend. he was 12 and she was 11 at that time. he was mad at her because she punched him. (a similar thing like damian and anya.) but now is a different thing. he's 18 and she's 17. he's mad at her because he doesn't have time for bullshit(for relationships). he's mad at her because she won't date a delinquent like him. he's mad at her for making him waste his time and he's mad at her for making him fall in love just by a goddamn punch.

he swore he could see feline ears perk up whenever she exaggerated an emotion. she hated everyone and somehow he was not one of them. her circle was just herself and somehow he managed to be a part of it. she fell asleep in the class, even rolling down to the floor, not caring about her skirt hiking up. but he did, immediately adjusting it to avoid any predator eyes. she'd ask him to carry her cause she was so lazy. she'd swat him away if he initiated a touch only to do the same to him. are you a cat? he wanted to ask. "are you even human?" he questioned instead. he didn't mind when she'd urge for more head pats. and he certainly didn't mind when she said that she'll ruin his life.

having a degree in being the person who feels bored 24/7, he doesn't care if she's bland. she had a mother-like personality. she would never stop him from following whatever his impulsive thoughts told him. but she'll always be there to scold him and to pamper him. he doesn't care if she's expressionless and he certainly doesn't care if she's boring. getting a reaction out of her was the most interesting task he set himself on. going after the organized class president— the daughter of a professor that labeled shuji as the worst student. she was his most interesting task.

sanzu haruchiyo

what he had with her didn't matter. how or when it began didn't matter either. he never wanted this. he never opened up to anyone. he never liked persistent ones. but it was her. he was an open book to her, hiding the words to be read later or to be hidden forever. he was the one who would never let go. clinging to her— he would never let go. going far as even killing people, he'd come to her as she'd cup his face, thumb grazing over the diamond scars. he knew it. he always had. that he was wrong. but now he knows enough to accept. he always wanted this.

he just finds it interesting that he can use the senpai card on someone. on her. as if she's not smart enough to disobey what he says but that's what makes it interesting. she's being a little rebel— just trying to have fun. and he's an asshole— a responsible senpai as he threatens to be a snitch. it's hilarious. annoying her everywhere and anywhere. but when it's only her and him, she's the princess. she's the one he says yes ma'am to. she'd snap and ask "why are you only like this when we're alone?" why he doesn't treat her like that everywhere and anywhere? but the answer wasn't revealed cause she and him were not alone anymore.

haitani rindou

rindou was popular, no surprise. but there was a guy more popular than him. a guy who actually communicated and a guy who actually got girls. rindou hated him not because of that. but because that guy had a best friend and treated her wrong. she was clearly into him, he was oblivious. but rindou noticed that. what's so special about him? he ponders. she deserves better. he believes. he snaps one day and finally talks to her. rindou finally steals her but her heart stays with the other guy. he didn't mind being in the friend zone, despite it hurting. that's till once when rindou sees her crying. he looks for the cause of her sorrows— seeing the other guy kissing some other girl. call him a sadist cause rindou's happy about it. he's glad and relieved about it. telling his girl that she deserves better. stealing her heart didn't felt like a hard mission now.

If you let him touch your hair, he’ll be apprehensive but would only very lightly touch it before stopping, he’s so red that you think he might combust and pass out right there

Looks at you in awe but in confusion when you tell him it became blue from drinking too much tea. He can’t help but wonders if he eats too many of one food then his hair would change color. And somewhat wants to try it out

“What, really? Does that mean eating too many oranges can change make my hair orange?”

Defends you with no hesitation, his hair style is a bit of an odd one so he gets it and will be there to comfort you if you want

Mitsuri Kanroji

Feels so happy and giddy knowing that she isn’t the only one with a unique hair color. She likes to joke that there would no be trouble finding each other because of the bright hair colors

Mitsuri thinks that your hair color is absolutely beautiful and will ask if she can braid it in exchange if you playing with hers. Mitsuri looks at your blue hair in awe and tells you what a beautiful shade of blue it is

Becomes very curious on how yours changed colors and will laugh when it turns out that it was just become you both loved eating/drinking something a little too much

“Hmm! I might have to try that tea if you loved drinking it so much that it changed your hair color!” You both laugh.

The end of TR was sad for Koko and Inupi??

I’m not sure if I’m just a lunatic, if i’m right, if i’m obsessed by Kokonoi and Inui, or all options above, but something that screamed in my mind during all chapters after the 277 was:

Man, their ending wasn’t as good as everyone else’s.

Let me explain...

I really love this friendship - althought I shipp them as a couple -, and something that anyone can’t deny, even if you are a really fan of, is that their backstory are full of problems and complicated situations. Every step after the fire turned in a fucking and messy problem, Koko and Inupi probably had some heavy mental issues after this trauma.

Inupi’s unhealthy mind wasn’t shown much, in fact, it really seems Koko’s pain was the greatest and Inupi’s not so much. Kokonoi is my fav character, but man, makes me sad how underrrated Inupi’s pain at losing his sister is, for real. Maybe because Inupi got over Akane’s loss? Not sure, but anyway, that’s sad.

Right, so why do I say that the ending of Tokyo Revengers is sad for my beloved boys?

Thinking about the growth of their friendship, probably they weren’t very open for complicated dialogues and all that stuff, and I belive that they only started to be very clear about that after Koko enters Tenjiku, and Inupi brought up his sister’s name and this friendship began to turn out to be a real chaos.

And after that, seemed like everything Koko did for Inupi was just for Akane. I’m not gonna deny, really had this “I see your sister in you” stuff; that’s one of the reasons that a lot of people dislike this shipp btw.

Coming back, the moment that all Kokoinu lovers are devoted for, is the “Let’s fall into hell together” scene.

It only existed because Koko was on Kantou Manji Gang, and this gang only existed because Mikey created it! In the newest timeline, Mikey have no reasons to create this gang, and more, not even the Tenjiku gang!

Everything started to be right when the confession arrived.

Thinking about how the things needed to get really intense for this moment to finally arrive, in the current timeline, they didn’t go through all this emotional confessional and Koko didn’t have that realization.

So they are not that happy, and I think that both hearts still really heavy for the not confession arc.

I'm not saying it was a bad ending, but it could have been a lighter ending for their backstory and traumas, because honestly I don't think in the new timeline they had that moment of saying out loud about their insecurities

And more, in the official character book 2, is writed that Koko hates money - this blog explains better why Koko and Inui new info -, so... See that in the end Koko is making money again, makes me sad.

Not gonna lie, Kokonoi is hot as hell here.

The only thing that makes my heart more peaceful is the fact that Inupi is with long and beautiful hair in this timeline. Not only aesthetically, but probably there’s some deep meaning in this haircut - where every timeline that Inupi feels comfortable in not show a manly appearance, to avoid Koko to remember his sister's silhouette, he let his hair long -

Other POV is that in the new timeline the fire never happened - that's why Inupi have no scars -, but there's no canon proof - at least not that I saw - that can prove it, so I sometimes can't really just accept that everything just ended perfectly.

Akane wasn't shown, so that's one more reason why I can't just say that everything is completely fine. I would love to see her alive and, in the end, create a new scenario where nothing has happened to my pretty boys.

I do love this ideia but at the same time I can't just accept that they are this happy after the reset.

This is gonna be a long ask ;

So i had this idea for a while and since I have a hub of angst works on my blog, I wanted to try a hand at comfort but with an angst to fluff (yeah i love that troupe as well) the reason I made this piece is cause of both, to indulge myself in writing comfort as well as to comfort people who are reading it and another element was capturing the realism of it... like. Usually when I read body positivity fics... the details of it are very vague. I wanted to put in something that was more descriptive, reasons why you hate that part of yourself- tiny details that do matter; and I ended up creating this. I was hesitant in posting this at first but then I reminded myself that it was for me and for a person on the other side of the screen who could be comforted by it when they couldn't really talk about these to someone or just in general.

Kaiser is arriving on his royally spoilt ass on this blog)

Going back to the fic, so on how I write nagi I use a lot of the "..." cause I imagine him to be a timed pause speaker; as for Oliver. He is playful and yeah that made me giggle too. (its the 'cold cup of water' isn't it?) as for Rin go to horny jail *bonk* i couldn't imagine him to be the type to talk these kinds of problems out cause he is rude. and he knows it so he dommed his way through it (*꒦ິ꒳꒦ີ) and i am not sorry.

So i know that my bio says 'part time model' but truth is; most of the content is based on my experience. like i mentioned before, the details of body positivity fics are very vague. But what I wanted to do was get down and dirty with it, expose everything and not keep it under wraps because it continues to be hidden yk? people can't openly talk about it when these kind of minor things do exist and they can cause a person's confidence to tarnish and maybe have other people think less of them. Shows : I was watching skam (not the french one- the Norwegian one), normal people, extraordinary attorney woo young woo, dark (that. show.), sense8 is on my watchlist- i did watch a bit of it but never got to complete it, the tail of the nine tailed- i wanna finish it but it was stretched out and i didn't want to watch after a bit (*꒦ິ꒳꒦ີ)

My roomies are into k drama and they think anime is 'cartoon.' - when they see the budget used int he eps tho (*꒦ິ꒳꒦ີ)

Anime : there is a lot since I've been watching anime since i was 5, Zatchbell/ gashbell was my first and i watch it sometimes, sailormoon, bleach (never got completed), Jojo's bizarre adventure (watched it all the way to stone ocean- god. the joestar fam is so blessed, Lisalisa (*꒦ິ꒳꒦ີ) , Tokyo rev (i was watching it with my mom and she got mad when I watched an ep without her), death note (my dad got invested with it and then dropped it- let me see if i can get him to watch bllk this christmas cause he is a football maniac), kaichou wa maid sama (my fav misaki is my idol), blue exorcist, hanayori no dango (this was used to make boys over flowers), kuroko no basuke, Kamisama Hajimemashita (my mom loves it -), Tomie, another, naruto, yamishibai, AOT ( my siblings just have debates about the whole conspiracy on the table and this time,,, I know its gonna be about tr) - there are a lot more animes so i might have to make a separate post abt that

Snacks : Since I'm part asian... ik you guys are (probably) gonna figure out a bit of my ethnicity cause of it Guava with chilli powder and salt. It tastes amazing and its healthy too; pears, apples. Pocky, pringles, coke (yeah i have an unhealthy side too) and meiji's yan yan a lot of chocolate.

Manga/ books : Blue lock (caught up with it), slam dunk, tomie, chainsawman, tokyo rev - i think i have some panels saved, black butler, bleach, your lie in april, skip beat, nana, don't bully me nagatoro - yeah i've read one too many manga (even that hentai one that released earlier this year) and I bought one- confidential confessions

Books : my fav is probably anne of green gables - read it when i was younger but it is still fresh in my memory, reading Sigmund Freud (interpretation of dreams...), memoirs of a geisha (a gift from my aunt), verity (something that kinda but doesn't haunt me), sherlock holmes and the hounds of the baskerville was my first novel, it was kinda a picture book.

It's a mess ik. but i mostly read non fic works as i grew older. And yeah it goes both ways! idm sharing !! ꒰ᐢ. ̫ .ᐢ꒱

Hello!! (Sorry this is super late i got very distracted and i am very sick (so if im incoherent, that's why)) I uhhhhh do have a lot of thoughts but it's really hard to write it all down 😭😭. But I can try!

So, in this au, pokemon are a lot more ferocious and more like dangerous fantasy creatures that you'd normally see in a jrpg or smth (in simple terms) so people don't really befriend them or anything (basically legends arceus but people have a worse relationship with them).

And as for the people.... humans are basically *explosions* dead (Ethan is one of the few), the biggest race are the elves (Kris is one... but i have yet to illustrate her (i have a sketch tho (high school is kicking my ass)), and almost every race you'd see in DnD is here too...

But nothing here is super rustic or medieval... aside from smaller towns. Big cities and such are much more developed and are closer to our modern day (with fantasy twists).

Anyway, as for the plot, Ethan basically wakes up one day and sees that his entire town is destroyed (he has been asleep for several years (no, i will not elaborate (that's for another time)). He runs into Silver who was "investigating" the ruins *cough* he's looking for valuables *cough* and Silver is immediately hostile towards him (here, demons and humans have a VERY rocky history).

Silver disappears after attacking him (he only backed off upon seeing how utterly defenseless and incapable Ethan was) and Ethan tries to find an inn to ask for information.

GUESS WHAT!! The nurses are now bartenders. They provide travelers with information and maps and even a place to stay if they're willing to pay. Ethan orders an applejuice and experiences a fuck ton of denial when he's told about the genocide of humankind. And after experiencing severe mental and emotional pain, Ethan gets redirected to a nearby city that can help him find a new home (he's an orphan now (help him)).

On the way, he meets Lyra. I have... many silly ideas with her. She is a folklore-obsessed bard on the hunt for her fellow (feral (not... cat people...)) cats. And as Ethan tags along with her, they look for them. Something something once she finds all the cats she will be able to revert back to her "twu fowrm" something something.

And they eventually meet Kris; an esteemed mage who is a master at ice magic and knowledged about magical artifacts. She only comes with Ethan and Lyra because she has nobody else to help her with her fieldwork. Also, she's just genuinely curious about a living human being walking around town like it's nothing.

I.... never explained Ethan's power.... back to the pokemon thing: legendaries are more like gods that people genuinely fear (and thus, respect). The people who lived in Ethan's town worshiped Lugia in this universe. Thus, many of them were blessed with intelligence and a very small portion recieved some sort of power. Ethan was one of them and he is able to turn his compassion (haha spirit... or uh... soul... haha *gets pulverized*) into literal healing magic... but if he's feeling overwhelmed, the opposite will happen.

Oh and the other characters are here too... they're just considerably different... (esp Lance and anyone associated with team rocket (tr doesn't exist here, its just a family of silly demons (and a moody silver that loves his alone time and independence)) like, Lance is still a dragon master, it's just people think that dragon masters don't exist and they're just a fairytale (Also, Lance is just more reserved and isolated since he's not someone of high status (a champion... you get it))

There's more but damn this is getting a bit long and I'd rather show most of this rather than tell.... but uh... yeah.

draken is probably the biggest unwritten fave. i struggle with him (and a lot of the other characters actually) because what draws me to writing is the chance of fleshing out the characters as serious criminals in their late 20s/30s and draken just doesn't really fit. there's a reason wakui always got him out of the way in the future timelines. i would have to seriously compromise his character to find a way to actively include him. the most probable scenario is me caving to that delicious emma/reader/draken scenario someday as a oneshot bc that really does get me...

i do love kokonoi and still haven't given him his flowers in writing. and as i say all the time, i can't believe ran has only been a guest star in my writing so far.

beyond that...i love mitsuya but he's like draken for me...i loved kisaki up until his motivation reveal ruined him for me...taiju is almost hot but then not idk...emma and yuzuha are both hot...i may be forgetting people, but that's all that really came to mind

oh and of course there are non-tokyo rev fandoms! i love some of the haikyuu guys (oikawa, ushijima, the miyas, kuroo, i can keep going), and i love gojo/geto, lots of the blue lock guys have my attention rn too. but i don't think i'll be writing outside tr anytime soon. i just love a mafia story & with TR, it's not even au!

Comfort after a breakdown with Jinx, Vi, Sevika and Caitlyn.

These last few weeks have been... Awful. Horrible. BUT finally I will have some free time... Not for long but enough write something, expect more posts coming soon! I'll try, pinky promise!

Tried writing about other characters, not bad for a first time, hope all of you enjoy it

Keeping such a positive attitude when you're really having the worst week is a bad idea. You thought all the anxiety and stress would go away if you pretend they're not there huh? Nice try, but no. Everything you're holding has to come out somehow and not because you ignore it will go away. And then it happened, all the weight you were holding came crashing down on you in a matter of minutes.

You had a breakdown, a big and horrible one. It was so bad that it left you emotionally and physically drained, unable to think or speak properly. You don't like being seen after moments like this, tears streaming down your face, a blank expression and weak stance, but this time you didn't care, you just wanted to go home as soon as possible.

When you finished the last mission/task of the day, you went straight home, knowing that the person you most needed to see at that moment was waiting for you there...

Vi

No because the second she sees your face her heart falls to the ground. There's nothing that hurts her more than seeing you down.

She's instantly by your side. Needs to know what happened. A rough week? Does she need to beat someone up? Please tell her, she's worried sick.

We know Vi is a touchy-feely person but will be hesitant to touch you just to not overwhelm you. Unless you give her an ok she'll keep her hands to herself.

If you don't feel like talking at that moment she will understand, will wait until you're ready or if you don't want to talk at all about it it's okay, but let her spoil you, It's the least she can do for you.

But if you need to vent don't worry because she will be there to listen and reassure you when needed.

You need time alone? Done. Whatever you need to feel better. (although she'll wait for you like an abandoned puppy :( )

But let's be honest here, with Vi? The only thing you need is one of her tight, gentle hugs, those who make you feel like putty and warm inside. Shell pepper you with kisses and smooches all over your face, head everywhere. And will hug your troubles away.

Will tell you stories from when she was younger, about how she used to cheer up her little sister when she messed, or explain you how her day went, what she did and that silly little thing she saw that reminded her of you. In hopes to make you forget that awful feeling.

I imagine her carrying you to bed, leaving you well settled for a session of cuddles, all cozy and intimate. Your face buried in her neck or chest, feeling every thrumming of her voice, while she's holding you, keeping your bodies close so that she can feel your breathing as it steadys.

Jinx

"You're home! ...toots?"

Oh no you're not ok, she instantly panics thinking it was her fault... And the voices don't help.

The convenient thing to do is explain what happened or how you're feeling. Starting from there she will be able to act according to the situation. Communication is key with Jinx!

If you need some distraction you're with the right person! She will take you to places she thinks are nice, high abandoned towers where you can visualize all the lights shinning in the night, will ask you to help her decorate her lair maybe help her with the latest graffiti she has in mind...

Need some rest? Then prepare for the best quality sleep ever, she'll hold you, face to face, all tangled up, while on the background there's playing some soft music she knows you enjoy.

Not the best at comforting but she's trying, would do anything to bring a smile to your face.

If you cry oh no, what is she going to do?! Will be desperate trying to think what to do that she'll end up so frustrated that will cry too.

Will remember what her sister used to do when she had a breakdown and try to do similar things that worked for her.

But it's complicated when it comes to Jinx... She's very insecure and the slightest change in mood will make her overthink and even if you explain to her that it's not her fault, she's going to end sad and worried.

in the end you both will need comfort, doesn't sound too bad...

Caitlyn

Mmmm British piltover finest woman huh? oh yeah, good choice. One of the safest options here tbh.

Caitlyn knows what she's doing. Knows how to treat you in any mood, what's the best for you and what you're comfortable with. You're in good hands.

The moment she hears your home can tell by all your sniffling and how your steps sound that you'd been crying, there's no use in hiding it, she knows.

Be ready to be treated like royalty. You'll experiment in your own skin the richest pampering you've ever felt.

Will sit you down in the sofa and wrap you with a blanket, then she'll prepare you a cup of your favourite tea, a good warm beverage to calm you down first and then if you feel like it, you'll talk about it.

If not it's ok, she won't push you but know she's there for you always.

Will run a hot bath for you, with some aromatic salts, those ones that make you feel sleepy and cozy, and will add some bubbles if you like them. She believes it is a good way to relax the body and clear the mind, it works for her when she has bad days.

If you want her to join you, you just have to ask. She will give you small massages around your sore body and will wash your hair for you. Ah so intimate and wholesome...

You'll end up so fuzzy from the bath and the warm that fills your body when cait treats you so delicately and appreciation, the moment you get in bed you pass out.

SEVIKA

She heard someone knock on the door, she knew perfectly well who would be at her door so late at night, what she did not expect was to see you in such a state.

Normally when she opened the door there you were, always with that smile, or you entered as if it were your house while you complained about something silly... But not this time, your face was wet, traces of dry tears on your cheeks and your head looking at the ground

"What, happened...? Come in."

It will be awkward at first, she is unsure about what she should do, she is not someone who knows how to act on these situations. Wants to say something but is afraid she won't find the right words.

Don't get me wrong, she is emotionally very intelligent but being in that situation so suddenly shocks her enough to the point that she doesn't know how to properly react. She's constantly in a very violent and harsh environment, so having to comfort someone is sort of a challenge.

But for you, the one who has been by her side, the one who healed her wounds whenever she came home injured, the person she has grown fond of, would do the impossible to return everything you have done for her.

This time you kept silent, that worried her but she would wait until tomorrow to talk about it if you wanted. Silence is something that is common between you, just some nod on your part and some question on theirs, enough to let her know that you needed some soothing.

She'll take your hand, leading you to the big window of her apartment, opening it wide, a light breeze brushing your faces and ruffling your hair. She would hug you from the side, her coat/cloak now placed on top of you. She would light a cigarette, if you smoked too you would share it, all in silence, only the sound of sniffles and head kisses now and there.

It's simple, but you don't ask for more, no words or big gestures are needed, you just need to be close to her to be able to release all the burden you feel.

You know she cares and she really does.

Guesstimate: Some Kakucho Observations

For my own fic-writing reference and the fun of it, here are some observations about our boy Kaku based on what has been shown in the manga / official Twitter by Wakui-sensei. 

(Chapter numbers are indicated in the screenshots.)

3 points to cover here today: Kakucho’s name and surname (it’s not Hittou, I don’t think), his fighting style and his fashion preferences. I’ve already done posts about his scarred eye and the place he got beat up at (lmao) if you wanna check those out!

1. Kakucho’s Name & Surname

Interestingly, unlike most other characters, Kakucho is only introduced / announced by his first name. 

The emphasis on his first name is to probably signify his devotion to Izana. As Izana commanded him to, he has put his family behind in the past and therefore shed his surname. 

I know that the TR wiki and translations state his full name as ‘Hittou Kakucho’ based on his declaration to Takemichi in Chapter 164, and that ‘Hittou’ is widely accepted by at least the English-speaking fandom as his surname (it is also something I initially went along with) but I do not think that his surname is actually ‘Hittou’.

Hittou (筆頭) can mean either (1) the head of a calligraphy brush/pen; or (2) an affix to indicate the top of a list (i.e. first author, first fighter etc.). If we go by (1), then, while uncommon, it should be his surname. But if we go by (2), it could simply mean that he’s putting himself as Tenjiku’s first / top Heavenly King, which makes sense considering his position as Izana’s right-hand man. 

The case is stronger for (2), IMO. Firstly, Kakucho has only been referred to by a singular first name in the manga. And in Wakui’s official twitter, ‘Hittou Kakucho 筆頭 鶴蝶’ is separated with a period (or whatever it is), which is not done for names. (This is also not done with the full names of the other characters, btw.) 

Highlighted text can be read as ‘Tenjiku’s First Heavenly King, Kakuchou’

Therefore, sorry to drop this fellas, but ‘Hittou’ is likely not his surname.

(My grasp of Japanese is not 100% though, so if there are any fluent Japanese speakers with a good understanding of its nuances here who wanna help out, please share your thoughts!)

Edit: It’s been confirmed that Kakucho has no surname in Chapter 255.

2. Kakucho’s Fighting Style

Tenjiku’s Strongest seems to favour wide-swung, impactful, one-shot blows/punches. No idea what kind of style it’s inspired by however.

We also see some high-kick influence from Izana, when he fought Smiley.

Which is totally natural; Kakucho and Izana would most definitely have trained and fought together. It’s cool that Wakui has these little subtle details when drawing his characters!

Edit: CharaBook 3 confirms that Kakucho’s special skill is a full-swing hook from a blind spot.

3. Kakucho’s Fashion Style (?)

Kakucho seems to favour slip-on shoes...

...and structured/hemmed jackets (Idk what this style is called):

Also, like quite a few other TR characters, he dons the sarashi (i.e. bandages around torso/abdomen) in his thugfit:

Sarashi is often worn by Japanese gangsters as an indication of toughness, inspired by a kind of protective garment from old Japan.

Kakucho’s overall character design seems to centre around toughness (i.e. sarashi, stern expression, buzzcut, badass scar)—to match his reputation as an incredibly strong fighter I suppose!

And of course, as we all know, he loves having his chest exposed to show off those gleaming abs:

Okay, so trying to choose ONE character is really hard... I'm going to go with Mikey from TR because he's my current fave lol

He can be incredibly loyal, especially when he's younger. He will throw down with anyone that talks shit or hurts his gang or any of it's members. Of course, loses this some over time as he gets darker

He's beautiful, and adorable, no matter which timeline Mikey it is. Looks wise, my least favorite is serial killer!Mikey cause black hair looks weird on him, as black hair often does on blonds. My fave is either first!timeline adult Mikey, or pre-serial killer Mikey, when he has the short blond hair.

He loves deeply and fiercely. This is why he breaks a little more every time he loses someone, until his final loss and he gives in completely to the darkness. His inability to deal with his lost loved ones is the corner stone of why he goes dark (even with the revelations of the last few chapters)

He's so badass, but like, super childish at the same time? He rides the fine like between capability and being taken care of. Like he can stand up and be independent, and is the BOSS, but if there are others around that will wait on him, he will take advantage lol

His ambition and leadership qualities. Mikey knows himself, he knows the darkness and knows the path he's headed towards -- it was the path he chose. Because he knows himself, and because he's loyal and loves his friends, he leaves them to keep them safe, mostly from himself.

Mikey is so complex, but at his heart, he's a loyal, loving boy/man that was hurt over and over until he was forced to harden himself to survive. He's childish in some cases (mostly when he's a 14/15 year old baby), but he grows through out the course of the series (sadly, just not for the better). He lost literally everyone closest to him, and really is a product of a life of tragedy and pain. This is why I think he's one of most sympathetic villains I've ever read, and the mangaka has done a great job with the story telling, for the most part.

I know it’s been a minute. Sooooo to cope with TR ending I’m currently reading Lore Olympus and I’m obsessed. Already halfway through and I just started yesterday 💀💀. I don’t choose the obsession the obsession chooses me 😌. I put off reading it for so long cause people were really pushy (and in annoying way) about it and that kinda made me lose my initial interest and I wanted to read it in my own time. I honestly end up with diet errors coping mechanisms like seriously unconscious why? (In a confused manner I mean) But like it’s a double-edged sword cause Hades and Persophone remind me so of Mikey and Takemitchy (they’re my OTP everything abt them just absolutely destroys me in a good way tho so much love and comfort and angst UGH) There had not been a night where I haven’t cried over them and their story and TR subsequent I started reading TR so like. Yeah. God I love that story so much. I cant believe it’s over. Izana brainrot still going string btw I even have a plot to our love story 😌. Lore Olympus has give me a bunch of ideas for both my love story with Izana and Takemikey fanfics 👀👀. Have you heard of Lore Olympus? It’s a webtoon and it’s just breathtaking. I highly recommend it. oh hi, a new writing blog for tr !! yeah ofc i can give you tips but just a little note that what worked for me may not work for you, so ofc its still best you see which ones you find most comfortable with in style preferences :) n tysm, im glad you liked dancing with tr boys 🥺💕

some tips into growing your blog: (take note that this what helped me grow so this is more my experience)

❍ open requests - opening requests means you can have a better gauge of what your audience wants to see. trust me when i say you can still write for yourself while producing content that people enjoy

❍ write for the fandom’s favorite characters - you might think that “oh but i dont wanna write for them bcos theyre not my fave” and if thats the case, then you can skip this entirely ! but writing for who is mostly loved means a bigger audience, which leads to more interactions. you can still write for who you want ofc, and you should always write what you feel like writing first, but if you dont mind this method, then it can greatly help you

(like, most of my following is probably thanks to gojo simps bcos i have a lot of gojo works, and once i have a bigger audience, i proclaimed the naoya agenda. ITS TOO LATE NOW, FEAST YOUR EYES FOR THIS SEXY VILLAIN)

❍ post frequently - again, it is best that you post only as long as you want bcos writing fanfics is a hobby for most of us, but the more you post and keep your blog active, the more your blog will grow !

❍ be interactive n support other content creators ! - have fun with talking to your anons, meet other writers bcos its a win win (you get more friends, you get to support others, n theres a possibility it grants you exposure as well !!) i also firmly believe that the more you leave feedback, support, and comments to other people’s work, it is a great way to pull in content creators from the same fandom while providing happiness to both parties !!

❍ go ham with the tags !! - i cannot emphasize this enough, tags are the best way to get your works out there and make your blog grow. go for character x reader, character x y/n, character x you, character fluff, character angst, character x reader smut - whatever you can think of !! i’m always ham in my tags to have a bigger variety of what people might search for so you can use that as an example

❍ have an accessible masterlist - as long as people can see an organized list of all your works that they can reblog (if you allow) then more people will see, and more readers will come :)

❍ use the keep reading tab - if you’re going to post anything that is at least 900 words above, its best to put the keep reading tab. personally i wont even read through something that clogs my dash

❍ optional : start with headcanons / scenarios - headcanons and scenarios are really easy to make in a short amount of time. its a great way to “warm up” and just practice writing first, maybe get a better feel of the characters, while still able to post frequently. plus TR fandom is hella rich in headcanons so if you wanna join that flow, then go ahead !!

I finally saw the new Jn opening and here’s my reaction (sorry in advance):

-Awww a flashback to Ash getting Pikachu! It’s been a long... journey indeed.

-And Go seeing Mew as a kid! I like what they did with this sequence. They have both been going for their dreams so long. 

-Dawn with Koharu (I can’t use her English name) during holidays... I wonder if this is purely for the op reasons or if she will still appear...

-ALOLA ALOLA Ash playing with his Alola mons ♥♥ That made this OP worth it (pls pls pls let him go back soon ok?)

-Wow, things are getting serious for Ash when it comes to the championship tournament. I just wish I felt more attached to his mons bc... I feel I don’t ‘know’ them the way we knew f. ex. his Alola and Kalos mons... Give them more screentime ok. Also, I need to give a special shoutout to Ash turning his cap bc that feels v nostalgic

(at this point I need to cut this post bc too long)

-Either way that sequence was pretty badass, looks like Ash will be using all 3: dyna/gigantamaxing, mega evo and... :’) pika’s z-move in the future (listen, I’m partial to everything Alola. No you can’t change my mind)

-I don’t care about Go but if they show more Gary during project Mew stuff, I’m here for it :’D

-Oh Koharu... why does her sequence look exactly like Serena’s in the xy openings. I’m not sure how to feel about that. May costume tho?

-TR in the balloon also reminds me of one of the xy openings, perhaps xy&z? (can you guys tell which 2 seasons are my favorites???)

-GARY AND HIS MONS!! ♥

-yay for Wallace and Lisia even tho the pokeani twitter ‘spoiled’ that :’D

-Iris ♥♥ Pls I wanna see her again too (idk what this part of the op rly means tho, pls tell me what you think. Will all of these characters be back? Or are they just showing them to showcase different regions...?)

-Marnie, yay, even tho I still haven’t watched her first ep yet! Maybe tomorrow. 

-Bonnie and Clemont ♥♥♥ (not surprising bc of.... pokeani twitter, but I’m still happy)  Altho it kinda seems like Bonnie might be talking to Ash via a video call but... idk. I definitely hope we will see them properly in some ep tho. 

-Perhaps one of the biggest surprises in this op: Paul.... What is he doing there??

-Glad that Tokio has a bayleef, best mon ♥

-Greninja tho??? What does THIS mean?? I’m not sure I’m ready to know (someone on yt speculated that perhaps Ash will also see Alain on his future Kalos journeys and pls I need that in my life even tho I’m like 99,9% sure it won’t happen)

-Glimpses of Ash vs Leon... this season really is coming to a close v soon and I’m not sure how they’ll have time to make ALL of this happen before that???

-The Ash&Pikachu moment (btw you have no idea how hard it is for me to write the full names when I and my friend always speak like ‘pika’, ‘Clem’, ‘Bae’....) at the end ♥ :3

And that was it! So! While I’m a bit sad that the pokeani twitter didn’t leave us a lot of surprises, it looks like there’s a lot of interesting stuff coming up and I’m definitely feeling a bit more hyped than earlier into this season. (Only Alain and Mairin’s return & Alola lab fam ep would /really/ manage to chance my mind about this season tho. I’m a petty person like that)
