"So then, what protects either of us?"

Drista waves her hand, and suddenly there's a fence between them.

"What's protecting me from, say, a knife in the back? You know how many times I've been stabbed."

She backs up further.

"There's a fence there. Don't bump into it. Don't try to get around it. We're talking, not touching. I've heard a lot, today."

Drista appears in front of Lani's throne.

"Lady Order." She begins, without waiting to be addressed. "What do you think gives you power, here?"

The goddess of Order shifts on her throne.

"Is it the fact that you're a goddess? Is it your castle?"

"Lady Cha-" She stands and opens her arms for an embrace, before realizing how coldly the other speaks. There's a confused mew from Pebbles, who stands firmly at the side of Lani's throne.

"... We give each other power." She laughs, nervous. "You know that, darling."

She steps toward Lady Chaos, who takes a step back.

Lani raises an arm, and a swarm of bees shoot at both Drista and Lya. 

Lya twirls her newly mended staff, eyes lighting up beneath her helmet, and an orb of pure magic forms around Drista and herself, to protect from the angry insects swarming them. 

"What're we gonna do?" She asks Drista, who smiles. 

"Figure this out, I guess!" Drista grins cheekily behind her mask, but she's so close to tears it's nearly comical. "It's been awhile since I've fought her, y'know. Almost like it wasn't destined."

Lya's face falls even more behind the helmet, and she reaches out to offer comfort, but before she can, a swivel of light passes through the dome, and Lani appears behind Lya. 

"Fuck, I forgot you could do that." Drista sighs, before drawing a flaming sword from oblivion. "Asshole." 

Lya tries to hold up the barrier, so that the bees can't get by, so Lani uses the distraction to her advantage, creating more bees to swarm Lya.

Lya gasps, and collapses the barrier to pure diamond, effectively defending herself from being stung- but the swarm continues. Drista laughs, as the bees don't even attack her, giving her just enough space to lunge at Lani, swinging the sword at her legs. 

Pebbles appears suddenly, the constant provider of sight for his Lady, and teleports Lani away before the sword can land a blow. 

"Drista, I can outpace you." Lani smiles. "You are an unstoppable force fighting an immovable object. You are outwitted."

Realizing the lack of danger, Lya lets her diamond armor down, and offers a little wave to the bees, before zapping and reappearing behind Lani, raising a sword of her own. Pebbles leaps forward to cut her off again. 

Buttons appears beside Pebbles, before lunging at him. Pebbles throws her off, and takes Lani up high, to the top of her castle. 

Drista doesn't hesitate on gathering Buttons into her arms, and taking Lya's forearm, before teleporting exactly to where Lani was. 

"I know how you love games, Drista, so why don't we play a balance game?" Lani smiles. She snaps her fingers, and suddenly she's gone. Instead of a roof, Lya and Drista are on a tightrope, overlooking a void. 

Drista hurls her sword like a throwing knife at where Lani once stood, but before it can hit, an illusion of Dream XD appears, head being severed by the tossed sword. 

Drista blinks, taken aback, before summoning another sword. "What the fuck?"

"Aww, you missed." Lani's voice is echoey and pedantic, and Drista cringes. 

Lya runs for where the voice came from, sword ready to stab. When finally, she feels something in the darkness, she immediately stabs it. 

Then, "Skeppy" appears to her, gasping and clutching the wound she made. The illusions then puff out of existence. 

[Dream.XD fell out of the world.]

[Sk.eppy was killed by Skepina]

Drista pauses. "Hey, Lya, you can fly, right?" 

"Mhm," Lya blinks. "Why?"

"Jump off the tightrope, and be ready to catch yourself. The illusion can't last if we're far enough."

"Wouldn't we be jumping off the roof of a castle?"

"Exactly! Bombs away, bitches!" 

And Drista leans to fall. Her feet begin to slip. 

Lani catches her, suddenly appearing and looking terrified. 

"Hah, got you!"

And suddenly there's a sword through Lani's chest. 

"Creative mode, motherfucker." Drista grins. She pulls off her mask to reveal that tears have been streaming, and she laughs one last time. "I win!"

Introduction

This is a c!Drista roleplay blog run by @thesapphicghost. Drista is the Goddess of Parity (Formerly the Goddess of Chaos), adoptive younger sister of Dream XD (@areyouawakexd). My interpretation of Drista is a lapwing-demon hybrid, though she was born human. She has only one arm due to an incident that occured between her and Lady Death (@hergoddessofdeath)

I am not the real Drista, nor do I intend to impersonate her.

To have a healthy existence, you must have an equal balance of chaos and order.

You cannot force order to change, you cannot force chaos into a box. There is love, in this balance, but only when it is found by the parties creating exchange.

Leeching power that you do not create yourself?

This is not balanced.

"Lady Chaos, you have to understand, what I did, it was-"

"No, Lani. Thank you for this! Really, I think I'm glad you did this. You let me taste death, and it was absolutely wonderful! Thank you for that."

"... What?"

"But you know what? You're an idiot. And you have no power, and you are the worst possible person to have become the Goddess of Order, because you're no goddess at all!"

Lani hung her head.

"No, listen! You're hardly even a Goddess- Lady Familia is more Order than you- I'm more Orderly than you!"

Drista abstracts, nearly glitching out of the server, before continuing.

Buttons and Pebbles both appear, circling around the two goddesses as if about to fight. Pebbles looks afraid, Buttons looks powerful, ready.

"You are an idiot! You just gave me the proof that I needed to make this the dimension of Chaos! Get out of my goddamn realm, now."

Lani takes a deep breath, stands up, and wings sprout from her back effortlessly.

"Lady Chaos, let's dance."
