Very fucked up of us to concentrate so much on Alexander the Great and his father, when his mother Olympiad, his grandmother Eurydice I, his sister Cynane and his nice Eurydice II were there

#i never cared much about the macedonian dinasty and hellenism in general #and boy what a mistake it was #eurydice i basically built the basis from which philip could build his court #cynane was so badass that Perdicca and Antipatros had to assassinated to stop her from taking control of the armies #and YET #the risk of rebellion was so big that in the end they still had conced to what she wanted #after she was dead #she and her daughter were both warriors #the whole war of women #where are my movies and series and books about them??? mh???#alexander the great #olympiad
