Hello ! Do you have any obscure trivia 'bout Half Life you really like ? Maybe something about a character or a level or a lore detail :3

oh not sure how obscure this is considered, but everyone ive brought it up with before hadnt known it, so essentially if you look at the trivia section for magnusson on overwiki, there is behind the scenes lore that was made as an idea or justification for magnusson and white forests existance, that essentially, says that white forest was actually owned by balck mesa before the war and was bought as a cost saving feature (im no business expert so im not sure how buying a hwole other location saves u money but lol) and that magnusson worked there before the rescas

so with all that in mind i like to take it as a canon concept becuz i think its neat though it does conflict with the in game lore that the casserole that gordon explodes is magnussons, in repsonse ot that, my only idea that could resolve that conflict was that magnusson regularly moved between the two locations as an admin typa level of access, or perhaps was just visiting for some other reason, possibly to see the experiment conducted since his cassarole palces him in sec c, possibly out of interest in what was going on since he seems to be more aeronautics focussed in his education fiven that he works on the rocket we send up in ep2 :)
