One of the many reasons I love using ao3 is the download option.

I started writing a sequel to Divergence of the Heart last week and it took until today for me to realize that I had saved over the original file in my OneDrive... by giving it the same wip name.

That would have been a 50k completed fic lost if not for the fact I could download it from my ao3 profile, toss it back into a word document, and save it with the rest of my fanfics.

Problem solved. Nothing happened. No imminent disasters, I am a perfectly functional human being who knows what they are doing at all times. 🫠
